Planes, Trains or Automobiles?!

Just was wondering... ((Again sorry if someone already did this.. *Cheesy grin*)). So modes of transportation! Which is your preferable one?
Or... what do you think the future holds?

I actually think that my choice of transportation would be horse back. Imagine... galloping to work. OR! In a horse and carriage... Aww... I really want a horse now *Sigh*

Oh and if you're stating your choice, do not forget to list your reasons why! And um... if you're suggesting a new modern unique way of transport, then a) I'll love you and b) I dunno...

I like airplanes, especially if it's a long flight to different countries!. I went to Australia and New Zealand and they gave each seat a personal screen to play video games, watch TV, and play movies. A 24+ hour flight and I didn't sleep for a minute! Otherwise, I use a Chocobo to get to school.

As for me... I'm a train girl. It's fun if you go with someone. Not restricted to such strict sitting... But like I said before... really I'd love to travel by horse x3. Back in the old days we had such fun

My uncle has a ranch/farm in Puerto Rico. I rode my first horse there two years ago...and fell off shortly after starting. I practice whenever I have the chance to go there and I've gotten pretty goo. I've never been on a train, though...

Motorcycles! Not the crappy hairdryer things, proper old-skool ones. I don't have one myself as I unfortunatly rely on public transport or other people, but when I feel ready to learn to ride i'd rather own one than a car. I prefer the freedom and the breeze, although unfortunatly if someone does something stupid its even more dangerous than if you are in a car. At any excuse I will ride on the back of my mum's Virago. I'm a born and bred biker chick- blame my mum!

I use trains to get to some of the nearby cities, and I will occasionally use busses. I would use planes for long-distance travel as being in a car for too long makes me feel ill and trains will usually make a detour. Boats would be an option for going abroad if I didn't get terrible seasickness.

But yeah, motorcycles ftw!

I usually get around by car, I don't have my license.. even if I am 21 now. I have people annoying me all the time about getting it, I'll get it when I am ready! My Dad is usually nice enough to give me car rides to my destination, sometimes my sister in law or even brother will too. Work is only down the road so it's not far to go.

I would never consider a motorbike, too many people die in accidents riding them. No way, never. As for a plane, I've never been on one and the thought of flying scares me. I'm terrified of heights!

Trains I rarely go on, we only go on one of them if we're in the city and are in a group. The last time I was on one was a few years ago actually.

I prefer traveling by airplane, because I like to listen to my inner voice, which just so happens to be the voice of Superman, and what Superman tells me is that statistically, flying is the safest way to travel.

As for what the future holds for transportation, I think that there will be transportation pads, which essentially destroy a person's body on one side of the pad, and recreate it on the other side, but most likely, somebody will die or get seriously injured during the reconstruction process, so flying shoes will then be invented. You just put the shoes on your feet, think about a place, and the shoes will grow wings and fly you to your destination. That's the kind of future that I want to live in.

I feel the same way about motorcycles, too dangerous. However, if they make a safer version with a top so you're not exposed to the outside that would be cool. If you don't understand what I'm saying, think Tron's light cycle.

I pick skateboards. I would skateboard across the Pacific Ocean doing varial heelflips and and anything else I could think of that would make me look extremely cool ! If only skateboarding across the Pacific Ocean were possible.

I'd....walk... get my exercise admire squirls xD...I have an odd fear to planes don't ask me why it's the same fear that I've got for escalators...I'll become a ninja like the cast of Naruto and walk across water so I can go anywhere I want!! =D

I hate trains and tubes. Well, and planes for that matter. Claustrophobia. Too cramped, and the windows aren't big enough to get some air in. I also don't like feeling like... I'm not in control of the transport I'm in. If I'm in a car and need a breather, I can always ask. On a bus (which I hate, but have deal with), it's not too bad - the stops aren't too far from eachother, and I'm up for a good walk. On a train/tube/plane, you can't exactly get up and ask the driver if I can get off for a breather can I?

So. My method of transportation will be: A very chuncky Harley Davison. A bike, that makes a growling noise. A smexy one. I like loud bikes... ^^

Heh. But I'd also love to get back into skateboarding again - thats awesome. I'd ride a skateboard into college if I was confident enough. Oh! Do you know what would be really cool? An Airblade. Am I the only one who has played Airblade? Good(ish) game.

Though I hate the takeoff/landing, I like airplanes. The airports, the planes, the travelling; it doesn't bother me, unless I have to sit by someone that is smelly or I could care less about. Driving is ok, I would rather sit front passenger than anything, but I'll do my fair share of driving for a road trip or stuff. I've never had the chance to ride on a subway or train, so I can't judge on whether I would like that or not. Riding on the trolley in San Francisco was extremely fun, but I think that was because of scenery more than anything, lol. I don't really care for motorcycles, but I like bicycling. A horse and carriage would be badass too, btw.

Airplanes: I'm sort of both ways on airplanes. Though I love the feeling of being high in the sky and getting to places fast, I get paranoid when I see those plane movies. You know, the ones where there's a bomb, and when the plane is in the sky, it blows up, and we all die? Yeah, weird, I know, but you can never be too careful... But I'd still take the risk because I love airplanes more than trains or cars!

Trains: Trains are so boring. All you do is sit there while a loud and extremely lengthy car pulls you through a track. I also wonder what will happen if the tracks suddenly break off at one point, and the train gets flipped on its side...

Cars: I like cars. They are comfortable and provides the feel of home since you own that car. You just have to wear seat belts, but other than that, you're pretty much free. You can also decide how you want to go, and whatever, so cars are very nice. It's just a matter of being able to drive so much if you're going a long distance.

Cars. I don't like trains, as I think they're a little bit scary. I will use them if necessary, but I don't like to. I always get scared I'll miss my stop, too. As for planes, I've never been on one, so I really can't comment.

I guess that's weird, since my grandpa was a well-respected in the RAF in WW2, AND then went on to be a general local pilot after the war was over.

I get to ride trains here in Tokyo and in ole Parée. Never in my suburb in America. However, I did ride a monorail every time I went to Disney.

I prefer boats. There is a Romantic quality to them. The capitalization is for that clarification.

Cars are really polluting. They use a relatively huge amount of gas, especially when you're driving alone, like a lot of people tend to do.

Trains are so relaxed.

And planes, yeah, that's for like a longer distance...

But on the topic note. Just the other day I was on a plane. I flew with Emirates and they're now using the cattle buses for my flight -.-. I hate them. I don't know the flight model but the seating arrangement is 3 - 4 - 3. Basically packing in as many as possible.

Of course in economy. Who do I look like? Miley Cyrus? =O xD.
But it was so uncomfortable.
Not to mention, I don't know if it is the same with other airlines, but on Emirates they have removed the foot rests. It used to be so comfortable with them o_O Why is that? Is it a weight reduction scheme? xD

If I were to ever go on a vacation or just travelling in general around the country, I would definitely pick a train. It seems like the perfect thing to just relax and to sightsee along the way. Cars are also another great way to use. I like having the feeling that I'm comfortable of something that I own. But with a plane, **** that. I have a fear with them.

Trains and subways are fun, but I don't really live close enough to any to use them on a regular basis.

I'd also like to steal Cloud's motorbike, but I'm afraid I'll fall off XD

It really depends where I'm going... If it is very far away, I would definitely prefer to take an airplane for obvious reasons. If it was close, I would take a car because it would be much less hassle than taking a train, or plane. I did pick train, though, because it is fairly comfortable on trains and it is nice when there is a good view during a train ride. Unfortunately there are no trains where I live. It is nice when I'm visiting other places and I do get to ride trains, but if the ride is too long, it can get boring after awhile.

Cars,cars,cars baby they're fast and sleek and sexy and cool looking and fast did i say they are fast well just in case i didn't they are fast! woot woot.

Seriously though i would rather drive a car than take a bus, train,plane etc etc.
In a car you are in control of the vehicle yourself yes yes i know that's when people go stupid and have accidents by speeding or falling asleep but in my opinion i like to drive it feels good to get behind the wheel of a car and start the engine up and listen to the rumble of the engine, i love to drive on the highway and turn down the music just so i can hear the engine mmm.
Plus if you are taking a nice long trip driving a car you can stop for a rest whenever you like or stop to look at the scenery you cant do this in a plane then again you can look down out the window but my point is in a car you can control your trip more than when you take a train or a plane so that's why i like to drive.
