I know there's racism and just stupidity (which usually go hand in hand) all over the place. Hell, up in Binghamton, they used to be proud that it was a major mainstay for the KKK back in the 20s. I've also seen two confederate flag bumper stickers on trucks up there.

Note: Binghamton is 200 miles NORTHWEST of New York City. You'd think you wouldn't get those typical Southern good ole boys in upstate NY, but, stupidity and rednecks are everywhere.

Just know that you don't have to cater to those overly-sensitive people. There's too many of those kinds of people from our generation, and the less time we spend being sensitive about shit the more instances they have to get used to the fact that life isn't about being butt-hurt about everything small thing.

Plus it's more fun that way.
