NFL 2011, anyone?

So what gives? Where's the football talk on TFF this year? It's week 3 already, and there's no thread yet. You guys are slacking. I've been taking my NFL discussions to another board, because they have a thread for this year.

Lots of exciting shit has been going on, too!

And that was the first game of the year. Packers are 3 and 0 thus far, freshly taking it to the Bears on their home field for the third consecutive time. The Lions and Bills are also 3 and 0 (WTF?) Cam Newton has been pretty amazing in his rookie season, breaking some damn record or another.

Also, the NFC West still sucks-the 49ers looking like the only somewhat decent team in the conference-the Colts can't do shit without Manning apparently-even on defense-and after a 1 and 2 start and an injury to Michael Vick that puts him out indefinitely... poor Eagles. You are probably not going to be what people predicted you to be this year. Unless Vince Young comes back and doesn't suck.

Thoughts on anything thus far this season? I can't really think of anything else really big thus far this year-except maybe the Ravens beating up on the Steelers in week one, then getting beat up by Titans in week 2 (another "WTF?") I also fully expect the Raiders to dominate the AFC West this year, much to my chagrin; hate them. Root for the Chargers most of the time. Chargers' first three games don't make them look promising this year...

Oh, and as I type this, the Colts are on top of the Steelers 13 to 10. Go figure. Anyhoo...
