A new fad arises

It has come to my attention that these things called bronies. They are fans of a show called My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and I get really frustrated because they treat the show like a religion and they apparently live by a "Love and Tolerate" I think that's total BS because they love to argue with people that don't like the show mind you a number of them love to lurk on YouTube to revert non "bronies" to one of them. Either I spend very little time on the Internet or something because apparently they've been around since 2010 in a way I wish I hadn't known about them. Lastly I have a bone to pick with them because they always ask what I am a fan of I and when I bring up Final Fantasy all they do is belittle the series not just XII and onward they. Also they do something called "ponifie" which is turning something famous and turning it into ponies I've seen them "ponifie" the Final Fantasy vii cast and rename Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions to Final Brony Tactics The War of the Manticore. Lastly I've seen a rom of Final Fantasy VI where it's been renamed My Little Pony Fantasy VI where they changed the sprites to ponies and the dialogue has been butchered. I'm just saying this brony fad better end soon because of there annoying habits.

P.S They have also ponified Super Mario, The Beatles, and the band Dethklok. They are getting on my nerves. Lastly a lot of them are hypocrites

Aside from few memes here and there I rarely stumble onto anything related to "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic", fans in particular, so it doesn't bother me that much, also from what I've seen it doesn't seem like it's a bad show.

In all seriousness, I've dealt with the annoying pushy bronies and the cool ones. I just find it annoying that people try to call it a culture and shit. The show is no where near as deep or philosophical as some people act, if you need purple ponies to tell you that love and tolerance is a good thing, **** you. Seriously. Either be a good person because you want to or just gtfo.

yeah bronies have been around for a while now...
I had a few friends who could be classed as one when it was all the rage to say how everything is '20% cooler' or something like that. They got me to watch a few episodes a while back and I wasn't too impressed, it didn't seem like anthing to get excited over.

I don't have a problem with it. If someone wants to treat it like a religion, go right ahead. There's a bunch of religions on this planet, both globally recognised institutions and other fiction, so it makes no difference to me. I've got friends who behave the same with Pokemon, WoW, Assassin's Creed, various anime (particularly yaoi?) and Zelda. Dem Nintendo Zelda geeks are feisty mofos.

If it's in your face all the time, then I feel sorry for you. If you purposely go out of your way to view it to get angry over it, I just pity you because it either means you like it or you have nothing better to do than sit there in your own anger over a bunch of ponies. Ghey-hey-haaaaay.

I have heard of these "Bronies." When I first heard of them, I got excited, because I thought it was "Brownies." I thought they were some sort of delicious organization that went door to door selling brownies. That would have been cool. But then somehow horses got involved, and I got pissed at horses once again.

Horses are a vile and discriminatory species. They stand there, with their saddles, being tall, and looking down on me as if they're bigger than I am. They laugh at me because they can wear horseshoes, and whenever I try, they always fall off my feet. Well guess what, horses? I can wear sneakers, so **** you!

Horses are the problem with today's society. Every time I leave my house, I see a horse in a department store, or selling illegal narcotics to "the blacks" on a street corner somewhere, and the police do nothing about it. All horses should be locked up forever. And all free-thinking women, too. A woman's place is in the kitchen, and a horse's place is in a 3'x2' concrete cell.

And what the fudge is My Little Pony?

I love MLP:FiM. I'm a Pegasister! I think it's a great show, it reminds me of the cartoons I used to watch when I was a little girl. Honestly, it's just a bit of fun, there's no need to get so worked up about it. There's also no need to generalise a load of people just because they all like something. I'm a fan, but I don't ever belittle Final Fantasy (duh) nor do get into hypocritical arguments on youtube with people who aren't fans of the show. Also, I don't think it'll be going away any time soon, the third season will start next month.

Anyway, I don't care if people like what ever, it makes no difference to me until they start pushing the shit on you. I've never met a brony that wouldn't stfu about trying to push the show on me in some way. Then they wanna start throwing accusations as to why you wont watch it or whatever...which is just pure hypocrisy, and nothing annoys me more than hypocrisy...

College campuses, high schools, and they gather several times a year in either New York and New Jersey for their mecca, BroNYcon.
I have no direct statement on this topic. My opinion has changed too many times to be valid anymore so I'm just gonna sit here in neutral land.

Recent brony here but it does get on my nerves when other bronies go too far, especially now that "clopping" is a new fad among them. They pretty much ruined a good thing when they crossed that line. But as UE implied, just let them be. Don't go out of your way just to intensify your anger.

The show in general is good and teaches young girls (the targeted audience) the value of friendship and other things, so that's why I want it to stick around.

It's what I meant. I would see spam of pairings and such, and that's been my problem with anime fans as well. If there's going to be pairings, let the creators figure it out. Sure, I could just Unlike the Facebook pages that post them, but some don't post them much and even have decent content. As I said, I am fan of the show, after all.
