7/11.
Edit for Period.
Down the street from me, about two blocks there is a QT (which I believe stands for QuikTrip). At this said establishment you can buy gas, liquor, snacks, cigarettes, and random household items (ie toilet paper). Convenience store is another way to refer to this location.
I'm curious as to what the name of the convenience store near you is, and maybe if you call it something else (like QT instead of QuikTrip).
Just thought it would be cool to hear the names of (and possibly see pictures of) some of these places all around the world!

I have seven 11 and circle K, well, those are the ones closest to me anyway. They just built a seven eleven that's just a store, no gas we have gas stations every where, no joke and not that far from each other, probably because it's really crowded here plus we live near the collage.

The closest convenience stores to my house are called Northside Convenience and The Sally Ann. Sally Ann has been in business it seems FOREVER. It's a family run business too, so I think it will be staying for quite a while. I don't think I have any pics of either one.
When my family and I go to Oklahoma, we always stop at this one convenience store called Love's. Technically, I think it's a truck stop, but we always stop there when we go to places like Tulsa and OKC. Last time I was there, I found a five dollar bill in the movie section. I thought that was kind of awesome.

I totally saw Love's in Texas too! I was driving through Texas with my fiancee (at the time girlfriend) on our way back to Kansas and we stopped at one for gas. There was a Subway inside, but the Subway was closed...
Damn you Jared!
The majority of the gas stations around my parts are Marathon. This is due to the fact that I live fifteen minutes from a Marathon Refinery. There is one BP, and three Speedway's. I think that there might be a 7/11, but I am not sure...
Nearest to me? I live in the City. There are loads, whether they're chain stores or family businesses.
We usually shop in Iceland and Tesco. Iceland, as you could probably guess if you're a quick one, sells frozen food. There are four isles in the one near me, and only one of the isles has non-frozen stuff - the rest are freezers or fridges.
Tesco is much bigger, and sells a lot of freshly made/caught foods like cakes, bread, fish, poultry... you name it. Unfortunately, it's not near my flat - gotta get the bus. It's no biggie, because you have Iceland if you run out of milk, but... fresh food man.
If we pass one, we like to go to Saisburys for a large shop. It's like Tesco I guess, but seems a lot more cheerful.
Then you got the more... "higher class" places like Waitrose and Marks and Spencer. Waitrose gives you a nicer shopping experience if you're willing to spend more, and M&S is just... the same, but is a little busier.
EDIT: This pic of Waitrose above used to be where Woolworths was. ;-;
We have Caseys!
They look completely boring compared to all of the other gas stations I've seen -_-. I'm jealous. Oh well, Casey's always has the best breakfast pizza I've ever had before, soooo gooood yum.

QTs are pretty prominant around here, no matter where you are in Tulsa you are with in a 2 mile radius of atleast 1 QT. There are 2 with in a mile from my house.
Also we have Kum and Go, which bought out Get n' Go a few years back. Not nearly as popular as QT but the staff is usually more friendly and you get to know some of them pretty well.
At every Walmart there is a Murphys USA, it is more of a gas station but for being a 10 X 10 box they seem to have a lot of crap loaded up into it.
Sadly to say though, with Oklahoma's liquore laws you cant buy anything but beer from conviniance stores.

The one nearest me is called One Stop... wait... Smiles... no, its McColls! The place has changed names several times, but I still call it One Stop (the one nearest me in my uni town is a One Stop too). Smiles was a pretty crap name, especially since trying to find something you need often left you with a frown rather than a smile... it was a bit steeply priced too... and that's saying something considering I live in England! The is another that was called Spar but is now a Co-operative. I was pissed off when I found out that Spar had gone and the Co-op was there, as Spar had the best chicken burgers ever! They were a proper huge fillet of chicken breast in breadcrumbs, in a crunchy roll, with mayonaise. They were quite cheap too.
The odd ones are the ones in England called Bonjour, which are found as pitstops on motorways. Why so we have convenience stores with a French name when the a lot of the French and the English hate each other? Most things given a French name are supposed to be classy, and last time I went into one of those someone left a huge turd in the toilet! Well... at least it was a toilet I guess, and not a hole in the floor...
Reese Witherspoon is the second ugliest actor ever, right above Drew Barrymore.
I have an IGA a couple streets up.
I'd rather just walk to the local shopping centre though, as apart from the occasional sale item IGA can be expensive.

3.85 a litre for unleaded 3.75 for plus but wait its only 34.45 a litre for Malboro's.
We just have service stations or fuel stations and crappy corner stores you know the ones where you feel paranoid because you are certain that there is a suss guy in the back of the store with a gun ready to hold the place up.
We have a BP, United fuels, IGA, Woolies (woolworths for those aussie slang illiterate) and like I said nameless stingy corner stores.
A mouth of a perfectly happy man is filled with beer.

The finer details of a signature:
We have a Mac's, with a gas bar. They've since reno'd the look of it, its more of a dark blue rather than the teal in the picture. Also, Sunshine Joe coffee is now a thing of the past, and they have Country Style coffee in there instead. We have the gas bar with it. This picture also shows how old it is, it doesn't have the three slots for gas prices. You know, when gas was actually less than a $1 a litre ALL THE TIME.
When i lived in Amarillo, Tx i had a gas station about a mile away called Pac N Sac also known as Crack N sac because of all the deals that went down and everytime someone pulled up on the side part of the gas station or if i did. Their would be a head or groups of heads poking out from behind the building. You just have to see it for yourself to know why its so funny ( it reminded me of those cartoons where they would peek around the corner and all of their heads are in a perfect line one on top of the other lol )

There are far too many gas stations around me to really narrow it down. However, my favorite ones are the Exxon/ On the Run stores. They all have like a bootleg 7/11 in them as well as a Dunkin Donuts. They are my crack for roadtrips.
We also have tons of 7/11's and bodegas.
And that's a bodega. They all more or less are the same, just general candy/ convenience stores without the chain name, since they're all local shops. Go there if you're underage and want beer/ cigs.

Its funny how I have never heard of 99% of these places. Also Dodie I think I have been to that Loves store a couple times on my way out of state. Is it off of the Creek Turnpike?
Also I am going to be the obvious ass of the day. Block I have a sneaking suppision that you are correct that QT = QuikTrip.

I don't know where exactly that Loves is located, since I just got that from Google image search (I don't normally take pictures of gas stations ). The one that we always hit is off I-40 and it's in Webbers Falls. I'm sure there's a couple more that we've gone to, but it seems that particular one is always on our "must stop there" list.
