Ahahaha whaaaaat? "Are you Mexican?"
Are YOU Mexican?
My parents didn't forbid sweets, but we didn't really keep them around either. My brother and I are both pretty thin. We started with good habits early-on. Although! One way my parents convinced us to eat our dinner when we went out to eat at cafeteria-style restaurants was to let us eat our dessert first. We could see it on our tray, we wanted it, and once we had it, we were perfectly happy to eat our veggies. So, my parents were willing to work with us as long as we too were willing to cooperate. Sweets weren't forbidden fruit, but they weren't in abundance either.
I'm guessing my first treats were chocolate of some kind, but I don't remember.

I wasn't aloud to have soda until I could drive... and even then only one a day until I moved out of my parents house o.O Good thing Che's parents loved Mountain Dew and lived right across the street.

I love homonyms.
I guess my first sweet that I ever had would have been some sort of chocolate. There's a picture of me on my first birthday, and I have chocolate cake smeared all over my face. I think most everyone has a picture like that somewhere.
We weren't really denied any sweets when my brothers and I were growing up, but my older brother had to watch his caffeine intake because his heart rate was too high to play sports. He was a big fan of soda, so he had to switch to kool-aid. He still has a problem with his heart rate, but I don't guess he cares much, because he downs like 4 cans of Monster Energy drink a day. o___O Well, he did when he was home not too long ago.

My parents were the same way, as long as it was in our own house. Then again, I'm from Wisconsin, and everybody drinks here.
I can't remember the first sweet I had, but none of that stuff was ever forbidden. I remember loving those Butterfinger BB things as a kid. I don't think they make those anymore, though.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."
Crao Porr Cock8. Bitch.
I really have no Idea what my first type of sweet was, It was probably like a Dum Dum or something because I was an idiot, and it's something I could avoid choking on....lol dum dum, I was an idiot..... haha
I was allowed to have sweets, but not if I was about to eat dinner, or if I was sick, what does that matter by the way? I remember when I went to the doctor once the nurse at the front desk mocked me for eating a sucker just before I went in to see the doctor... I had a cold. I don't see the relation unless it was like diabetes or something....
I didn't know cavities had a relation to runny noses

To be technical my first sweets was Wild Turkey American Honey. That shit is like candy to me. Had my first drink when I was eight, mom always kept a fifth of it in the house. I have a lot of brother's only way she could stay sane I guess.
My first candy was candy corn. Most people I know hate it, and says it is chalky shit, but I love it. I stole all of it out of my girlfriends little brothers halloween bag. I was never forbidden to have candy growing up, soda I wasn't allowed to have till I turned 12, like I said above had a lot of brothers and a mom who was trying to stay sane. She couldn't handle the sugar buzz's that came with soda, candy didn't give us sugar buzzes.
Well, my very first sweet was an Andy's mint choclolate. My mom worked at this family store and would give me them every day. haha My only restriction was don't touch my dads booze, [even though I started to disregard that in some rebellious stages].
How about I wash your mouth out with a revolver?....
Lets be best friends
Back in the day I was at my grandparent's house a lot when I was younger and I got hooked up with sweet sweets all the time since my grandpa had a sweet tooth. I think my first candy was like a Crunch bar or something, idk. As a kid I could only have one can of soda a day at the grandparents, but it was worse at home because my mom never bought any pop and not as much candy as my grandparents had. But I guess she was a nurse, so go figure, lol.
And no my parent's were very strict against me drinking until I was of age, and look how that turned out heehee. I didn't start drinking until I was like 17 (senior in HS), which was a lot better than most of my friends, but hey it's Iowa, everybody here gets drunk and blacks out in the cornfields you guys wouldn't understand...
