lol sometimes I log on here and look at threads and think to myself:

'I can't relate anymore! 9-5 corporate job, paying mortgage, need to furnish the house and install some blinds, it's almost spring gotta take care of the lawn, retirement plans, etc'

I don't care really. At 32, I still feel like 18. Whether that's good or bad..does it really matter? One thing I do miss though is making threads. I used to do it a lot back in the day here too >_>

Anyhow, are there things that you think you are already too old for? Whether you still do them or not

I am 25 and I feel too old to be doing some of the stuff I do I suppose. I still live like I am in college. I wake up around noon. I drink 3 nights out of the week. I game for most of my free time. I make $9/hr at Wal-Mart despite having a Bachelor's Degree which most of the management doesn't even have. I am just too lazy to grow up.

Also, I love kids cereals. And Happy Meal toys. haha. Peter Pan Syndrome at it's finest.

I'm 24 and I'm moving back with my mother today. I feel a bit old for that I still feel like I'm 19 though, but it's time for me to start growing up! I'm starting to feel too old to play games too, but my brother is 30 something and he still plays games, so if he can do it, I can still do it too

I actually think I act too old for my age, I don't go out, I like to stay home and be in my pj's, I love to watch movies,play games and I wash my hair of Friday nights I wash my hair other nights of the week, just thought that was funny. I like to do jigsaw puzzles and I love to hang out with my cat. I also LOVE to buy homewares. Now that I'm single, I can't wait to save up my money so I can move out alone. But that just means I get to buy A BUNCH of homewares. OMG! So excited!

I just think you gotta be who you are and love what you love. Just talk about anything on here, I'm sure SOMEONE will relate.

Yes there are many things that I sometimes wonder hey am I too old for this but than I look at the kid in the ball pit beside me and I think to myself. 'Noah age is just a label to categorize when you can cash in on your pension.'

Seriously though I imagine there is a line when we are suppose to give up things for the younger generation to enjoy and what not but I think that we take it to extremes to far sometimes. This reminds me of a commercial where an old grandpa throws food at his grandson's face during a family meal and the kid looks at him like he is an idiot. I know I totally plan on being still a bit kiddish when I'm old because it is a lot easier to enjoy life over simple stupid things.

We could solve this by making threads about corporate jobs, mortgage, and interior decor if you wanted Quisty!

Honestly, I don't think I'm too old for this. One thing that I do thing I'm too old for is Drama, but then I realize that everyone gets their fair share of it once in a while. I have realized that I'm not in high school and half the stuff that comes up is really unnecessary. Like Jealousy. People get jealous of me all the time, and I have to deal with that. I grew out of the jealousy stage a few years ago when I realized I'm better than that. Often times when I do deal with it, I think *sigh* I'm too old for this.

A lot of the things I do not suit my age. With the amount of volunteer work I do and sorting out my finances and where they go, I think I have a nice balance between foruming and real life. It might take me another couple years to 'grow out' of foruming. But I don't think that could ever happen. I love the people I meet online.

There are times when I think I'm too old for something, and times when I think I'm too young for something. I think at 20 years old I'm in that overlap time where you can still be a kid, but you start becoming an adult.

Times I think I'm too old to be doing something:
When it came out, me and my brother saw Toy Story 3 in cinemas.
I play a LOT of video games.
I still sometimes call myself a teenager.

Times I think I'm acting too young:
While a lot of people I know are out getting wasted, I'm sitting at home reading a book.
I write with proper spelling and grammar.
I criticise people my people for their immature behaviour.

I don't think you can be too old to do anything. Unless, of course, you bust your hip playing football with your grandchildren or something. I do think maturity comes with age though, so there are some situations when you have to act it. At work is one big example - outside of work, you have all the time in the world to do what you want again.

I'm only twenty (come to the dark side, Quistis... ), so I guess I have a different view point. I work for just under £7 an hour at a game store, and I love it. It's not the dream at all, but I'm not too old for it either. At this age, I'd hate a desk job, even if it did mean regular hours with more pay per hour. I'm too young to be dulled down by life and I make enough money to look after myself (if I had rent or bills, I'd be screwed though), and enough money to enjoy myself now and then.

If you think you're too old for stuff... next time you're out on the street, try not to step on the cracks on the way to wherever you're going. It's better with a friend. Always fun.

I am 24 with three kids and a full time job and I still make time to get on here and have some fun. It is good to come here and talk about s hit and stuff.

Back when my parents were around, they would tell me that I would need to grow up and act my age. Their opinion of growing up was to stop gaming, no more trick-or-treating, and to learn to drive a car. That was four years ago, when I was twenty-one.

I am glad that I didn't (now at 25). Because...
1) Gaming keeps me sane.
2) Gas is $4 per gallon (Actually $3.89 today). Bicycling is better!
3) Halloween candy can keep me fed until Thanksgiving.

I don't plan on ending my forum experience willingly. If for some reason my computer would blow up, then I would have to temporarily stop. Otherwise, I plan on staying as long as possible.

You're never too old to stop socializing, this is a great place for that. You can meet you new people, discover new things, discuss current events or anything of interest. I've only been here a year, but I've had the pleasure of getting to know so many great and interesting people on here, it keeps me coming back. I just assumed everyone else felt the same. Because obviously its not to talk about final fantasy, lol.

I can't really think of any examples, but I'm clearly not beyond playing videogames and posting on a website about them.

I'm surprised that guy makes sense after 3000 years. You're totally right. It shows that no one is ever too old for forums. It's all really a personal view. If you have better things to attend to, that's totally okay. But don't think that people won't miss you when you're gone. I mean, you guys still go on about this Michael Belmont guy. You guys have tradition. Not many forums stick to traditions like you do. It's a nice thing to see.
