Thread: How often do you go back and read old topics?

How often do you go back and read old topics?

How often do you go back and read old topics? aannnnd what sections do you normally go back and check most?

Before CoD was cleaned out I used to go in there and rummage through all the older stuff. I'm slightly sad it's gone you could find some crazy stuff in there...

I go through ID thread a lot. It's fun to read through when I'm bored or I'm some place where I have to wait a long time. I often just bust out my phone and start reading through it ^^

    Ta DA!!!:

    Alright, who censored my rocketship?

    From The Clint Eastwood
I'm thinking about creating a hybrid. A dolphin-monkey. Half dolphin, half monkey. Do you think it's possible?
I was thinking that since I'm artificially creating it, I'll create it with rocket fuel instead of blood, and thus it will be able to fly, using the dolphin's dorsal fins as wings. And from the air, it will look down upon us all and protect us against sharks, and search for bananas.

Re: How often do you go back and read old topics?

I think the more apt question is how many threads are you going to create tonight? Nah, just kidding.

Umm, occasionally, I'll look way back and see what I can dig up from old members that I miss. It was a lot easier a few years ago, before a lot of those old threads were deleted. The best for that though seems to be threads that were started years ago, yet still have recent posts in them. Like the old Dragon Ball Z discussion thread that started when I first joined here (it was the Dragon Ball Z club back then, and in the club forums, not the Animation section.) Also, you often dredge up really old threads in places like the EBG forum, where nothing gets deleted very often.

It's fun to reminisce, but sometimes you come across a really old post you made, and think to yourself, "...why the hell did I say that? I hope everyone's forgotten this..." ...>>" Anyhoo...

hahaha YES! I'm so glad that most of my old '02 shit isn't still on here anymore, I would of died of embarrassment here. Like my first RP? OMFG.

Yeah I like to reminisce and look back at some of the older stuff, like the Quistis Ball, some of the awards to see who won what, older drama threads that made me rage then and lol now, etc.

I miss all the older SOLDIER threads before it got made into a public thread. It was like a secret vein of knowledge.

Re: How often do you go back and read old topics?

When I go to amuse myself, I'd do stuff like pull up my very first thread on this site where i posted in the FFIV section a LONG time ago and I'd laugh at what i asked along with the responses i got haha. I'd say to myself: "Did I really ask that?"

I also sometimes visit a zelda forum i have an account on and visit my thread about the game ideas i have for future zeldas. I could tell you stories but I don't want to take up space on this thread.

Sometimes I like to go back and read my old posts to remind myself of how funny I am.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."

I think that all the time. Unfortunately, a lot of my older posts are still around... I'm so glad I'm past that and have grown up a bit since. I still die of embarrassment when I see the "What do you say to the above user when you wake up next to them?" thread, or whatever it's called. Me and loner kid tore that up...

As for going back? I do so every now and then. I usually end up reading a thread when someone brings it back up again with a new post. It's nice to read posts by members who were around when I joined... =(

Re: How often do you go back and read old topics?

Mentioning specific threads makes me want to go read them. >_>

I do read older topics quite a bit. Usually I'll go back to look for a specific thread I had in mind and along way I'll usually end up reading a bunch of other old ones while I'm at it. And sometimes I just like to browse, it's always nice stumbling across a post by someone who isn't active anymore.

I find reading my own old posts both painful and interesting. I can literally see how much I've changed over my time here, particularly through my journal.

I never read old topics. If any of them were interesting in the slightest, I might go back and read some, but this forum is full of a bunch of goofy retards who always make lame jokes.

Besides, I don't have much time nowadays to read old threads. I'm 80 years old, and most likely will only live another 30 to 40 years. I occupy my time doing much more Clint Eastwoody things than reading threads, like directing films, firing guns, and driving pickup trucks.

Speaking of directing films, anybody who hasn't seen Hereafter; **** you.

Re: How often do you go back and read old topics?

I'm going to go back and read this topic when I'm in the future because this will become the greatest thread of all time.

    Loaf: Meier is the best.

Meier: Hey Pete, I said I started to, it just didn't end the with the same number of women. Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Even got a rePETEr (<---- like that ay? AYYYYY?) on the back burner.

Block: I do like the rePETEr except it kinda makes it sound like you're going to pork Pete. No homo.

Re: How often do you go back and read old topics?

What I wanna know is why Unlucky Rufus keeps spelling "Clint" with an "e," thus making it an improper noun that even sounds different. I like Client Eastwood, though. It makes me smile.

And someday I will look back at this thread, see this post, and think, "I was dick for posting that." Sorry Gypsy. Anyhoo...
