I am a moving machine. I have moved several times in my life. Usual once the boxes are packed it is pretty easy going. I can load up a truck with a quickness. My buddies like to use me when they need to move.
Me and my family haven't moved to a new house in a while, but we're considering moving to this new place. I always liked the idea of moving someplace new and possibly bigger but I'm not a fan of packing up all the stuff and unloading it. It's like a huge puzzle once everything is done.
I went to check out these own homes ( everyone in my house it far too lazy to go look) and the only open spot the had was an upstairs one. The only think I could think about was how much work it's going to be moving all the big pieces of furniture up @_@;
On top of that we need to move in by December 17 it's kind of going to be a mess since we're slow when it comes to getting big/important things done.
Do you and your family do well moving or is it a mess and hard to get everyone to do their part?

Yeah it's kind of a hassle, I've moved a few times in life, most recently moving up to college, but its never been a huge deal for me, I just kinda put up with it and do it. It sucks because sometimes I forget stuff that I'd like to have available but I make it work. Um when my family moves stuff it gets crazy at times, my dad is pretty anal about everything and wants everything done in as fast of a manner as possible, whereas me and my brother are like "meh" and get around to it when we do, as far as packing/unpacking. This only aggravates our dad, which he ends up aggravating us back and its a vicious cycle lol.

420 move houses errday
I lived in the dorms my freshman year of college, and moving in and out sucked because I lived on the 7th floor and the elevators were ****ing awful. I climbed a lot of stairs. That's what I mean.
Also, I feel the need to make an obligatory, "Hey, you should move into my pants" joke here. That's all.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."
Crao Porr Cock8. Bitch.
I enjoy moving when it's my own things. When I help others well it's gotta be something in it for me haha.

Anyway. I love moving, Ive been in the house I am now for about 5 and a half years and I'm already getting itchy feet, but I have a kid now, so it's not as practical and I don't want to uproot her.
Ive moved alot in the past though. I just love coming into a new house, that's empty and you just start from scratch and move yourself in. I love getting it all ready, decorating, even just the general cleaning of the place
And even though I know whats in all the boxes, there's just summat exciting about opening them all up, seeing whats in there and giving it its new home
Aw I'm a sad act.. but I really do love moving
The thing I found about moving, was that you don't realise how much stuff you have until you start packing up, then you've got to re-home it all in your new place, I never know where to begin.

I haven't moved in 8 years , but i really can't move cus all of the stinking animals my mom has but I do remember when we moved,we had a sertion time to move out cus we got kicked out on the count of the guy we where renting from, his wife wanted the house back(we didn't do anything wrong)
It was like 2 weeks we had to move out and we still didn't move so a cop came bye and asked us why went moved yet....are excuse was that we where still packing(it was kinda true)the truth was that my mom wouldent get off her ass and get moving, but let's just say it took about less then a month to move, but we moved out of state from California to nevada

I've never moved, and I don't really want to move just yet. I'm in a good location... =(
Anyway. I'd just find the move stressful in terms of getting used to a new place. Packing isn't really a problem if I'm honest. I don't have a very large room (100x100 inches), and it's fairly tidy... most of my stuff is already in plastic storage boxes.
I'd just worry about the delicate stuff. Like my TV, consoles, etc. My friend went over a speed bump (gently, mind) during his move, and busted his Xbox 360 and 42" TV. @_@
My parents were both military, so moving is second nature to me. The key to moving is to go through your belongings regularly and get rid of anything you haven't used in a while. The problem usually is that people are too sentimental when it comes to belongings or their house itself. You get them to go through stuff that has been boxed up for 10 years and they start telling stories about each and every trinket that they totally forgot about until just now. People "miss" their old homes when they move, as if the object was somehow a member of the family.
In the military you do not have that luxury. Keep what you absolutely need and dump(Salvation Army, etc) the rest. Don't get attached to that house because you'll be leaving it soon enough. It's probably harsh to most people, but to us it was a way of life. If anything, you get some AWESOME tax reductions... and becoming a hoarder was practically impossible.
