But seriously, swimsuits. Mine is blue. I like to swim in the ocean more than I like to swim in a pool. Unless there are people in the pool with me. Or hey, a lake. I swim in them, in my swimsuit.

Aaaand, so this post has more content, I must admit I prefer pool to ocean. Not public pool though, because they tend to have pee and snot and vomit in them, being masked by mammoth amounts of chlorine :x. I love my own pool. And the beach is really too far away for me ;_;

And ocean is vastly superior to the pool. If anyone reads my journal, which you should be doing, you will know I have nearly died from waves several times. I barely survived the Hurricane Hanna waves today.

As far as swimming is concerned, I prefer the pool. In my own backyard, I don't have to worry about sharks, jelly fish, or any other creepy sea animal trying to bite me. Plus, it's hard for me to keep my swimsuit on after every wave crashes over me. I like going out further when I DO swim in the ocean. Sadly, it's always crowded by a ton of people, so you never know who's pee you may be swimming in, heh. I always have to worry about landing into some idiot's surfing board when a big wave hits, too.. it's happened a couple times. As for pools, they're warmer and easy to jump in and out for exercise. They're in your backyard and you can easily enjoy a nice drink or two and have regular conversation with people. There aren't many games you could play in the ocean, as the waves keep separating you.

I normally find it hard to find something I like. I have a nice green bikini I bought last year but i've gone up a cup size since then so it doesnt give me much support as its one of those plain triangular things. My mum then bought me a nice cyan one for this summer, the top being more bra-like to give good support. Annoyingly I couldnt wear it as the cup size was perfect but the back bit was too wide! I have a problem buying bras though so its understandable- I always have to get expensive ones...

Oh well, sales are probably on soon!

On another note, I've always been wanting to try out those body suits. I heard they make you feel warm pretty fast in the ocean.

On a side note, I have no idea and really don't want to know what my butt would look like in a thong. Back in the day, I've thought about being Partyboy for Halloween, but every year the timing just wasn't right. Either I was with someone or in a situation where ripping off tearaway track pants and dancing in a thong would've been inappropriate.

One Halloween I wore booty shorts though. It was incredibly awkward, cause I only wore a sports bra along with it. I was Sporty Spice for Halloween, freshman year in college. Not gonna lie, it was incredibly awkward wearing a girls (she lived down the hall form us) sports bra and booty shorts, even moreso when she had a super overprotective boyfriend who hated me. I was grabbed and groped by so many people, dudes and chicks... AND I had my trademark 5 o'clock shadow. Sad thing was, I kept my phone and wallet in the bra. I was told that my ass looked great though.

My casual swim attire is boardies and sometimes a swim shirt. But usually without the swim shirt; only when its extremely hot.

I buy new boardies when I feel like new boardies. Or when I am just wondering past City Beach or any other surfing shops.

I prefer swimming in my own pool to swimming at the beach as well. I hate getting sand everywhere.. and I am always scared of anything that brushes past me in the water. It is really dirty and I am worried I will be taken out by someone. Also even though no one cares what you look like at the beach.. I am really self conscious and don't want anyone to see me.. less clothed ^^;

I like playing in my pool at home. Yay Marco Polo. Except the pool at my new house might be a little small for such a game.

I don't swim too much, but I do like to wear bathing suits to the beach when I go. I'm always looking for one that matches my skin color well. I have a few bathing suits I got from Hollister, I like theirs because they are cute yet simple. I don't like super crazy designs. I have some plain ones and some that are striped. My favorite one is white with Navy horizontal stripes. Sailor status. I love that one, but it's the type that doesn't have much padding in the top, so if it's chilly or if I actually do decide to splash in the water, my nips show -_-
