I dunno, but I think having a lot of sex makes you feel awesome.
schedule help prevent depression? Does knowing what you're supposed to do and when you're supposed to do it help keep you happy? Some people claim to thrive off of spontaneity and detest schedule making. I used to be one of those people I thought I was making myself happier by doing things as they came to mind and keeping myself "free" of the day to day mundane. Now however I keep a regular routine for the most part, at least when it comes to things that actually of importance. I haven't gone as far as planning out my free time, just more knowing that I'm going to have free time. It has made me feel much better about the time I use to sit around and do the things I truly enjoy. Like posting here and playing Starcraft 2.

I schedule when I jerk it. That way I know when I can load up for a bigger ending.

I'm not sure if a regular routine would prevent depression. If anything, it'd probably cause it. If I woke up every single day, did the same things, and/or had everything planned out, I wouldn't have very much fun.
I don't really have a routine any more, although mornings are generally the same if I have to be up and out of the house at a certain time. I always make my bed, grab breakfast, take a shower, sit around and browse the web/check e-mail while I get changed, if I'm going out I brush my teeth, and then the rest of the day is pretty much different. I get unhappy when I do the same things over and over again, like lately. >>
I guess it depends on the person. I can see that having a routine leaves little room for disappointment, and makes things easier to get by, but groundhog day repetitiveness? I'm sick of it.
It does for me. To quote Brad Pitt from Seven Years in Tibet, "So much time to question oneself is...not good."
Up until a week ago I was unemployment/not in school for about 4 months straight and it's amazing where your mind goes when you've got nothing more pressing to think about.
Until now!
The only things I ever plan are things that need to be planned, well, piss ups really, fun things. If I don't have anything fun to look forward I feel the need to find summat to look forward too otherwise I'm just left feeling that Ive nowt exciting coming up, and it's abit poo
Other than that, I just wing it
