That's life.
I thought about this because earlier tonight I pretty much squashed a Spider to death, and even though I can't stand the sight of them, I always feel really guilty afterwards, because it didn't do anything wrong, and didn't really deserve to be killed in any way at all, but I really don't like seeing them, and this one was HUGE, so I had to do something about it quickly.
It's not only Spiders, if i'm walking down the street at night, and I hear a crunch, I know i've just stood on a Snail, which again, didn't deserve it, and I will feel so bad after.
Anyone else?
I think I'm beginning to understand. An answer from the Planet, the Promised Land...I think I can meet her...there.

I feel Terrible after killing any insects (spiders aren't insects btw) except for misquitos when there sucking your blood, self defence ... but horse flysfor some reason if I noticed they took my blood I don't because for some reason I always feel like they have some hidden skill that'll come to get me one day...
ZantetsukenZack: Somehow, I don't think you've killed an aunt before; probably an ant Although I suppose some aunts might be considered bugs...
I killed three spiders today at work. One was huge, two were medium. They were scurrying around in the hallways. I don't like spiders. They are evil, and must be obliterated! ...so I don't feel bad when I kill them. I feel a little worse if it's a bug that doesn't bite me, is cool, or whatever, but they don't have brains; just nerve centers. They have no souls. Anyhoo...
Wuv, Yer Mom
I kill spiders all the time here, because i don't want to get bitten by one. The only ones i have encountered in the house are black widows. When it comes to other bugs they don't really bother me, i'll kill poisonous ones but not ones that aren't.

The mosquitos have been bugging me ever since it's gone this fucking hot.
I killed one 2 days ago, and felt a little guilt.
But they shouldn't fucking suck my blood. If mosquito bites didn't itch that hard, I probably would feel really guilty. But they're nasty buggers.
Crao Porr Cock8: Getting it while the getting's good
Well if its anything other than a moth I won't kill it but a Moth now come on there just.. UHH!
I don't feel any guilt after killing them!
If I have to kill a spider for someone in the house I feel a Little sorry for the guy/gal
Its not there fault people are scared of them!

"HELLO GUYS!"
Any bug on my territory-- LOOK OUT! I kill all bugs in the house. I don't like the thought of them crawling in and out of my ears or nostrils.. or mouth. So yeah, I'm pretty merciless when it comes to killing insects. I especially like killing roaches and large garden spiders. *shudders*
The only bugs that I don't really mess with are lady bugs and praying mantis.. I don't know why, but I have a soft spot for them >_>. Must be because I liked looking at them and picking them up as a kid. Other insects are just scary to me, though.
I always watch out for Slugs and Snails everything else are to hard to spot when your walking
When i was little i use to pick ants up and throw them into spiders webs i feel kinda quilty now for doing it

Never really felt guilty after killing a bug, don't really understand why should I they're just bugs. I'm not scared of any bug at least of nonlethal ones but I'm not also thrilled to have them around so I kill them especially those annoying ones like mosquito's. The only bugs I like are ants, it's great to see those little hard workers.
Sig and Avy made by Unknown Entity
Pray Mantis is the only bug I don't kill ever. Any others, I don't care.
As Metallica's first album says kill'em all. Regardless of what bugs do for the environment if they're swarming around my head or in my house then they should die.
I almost never kill anything on purpose. And yes, I feel bad if I kill one. Usually I'll try to just move them elsewhere. Recently we've gotten some pretty big spiders in the house. The first crawled on my arm, I shook it off, and my brother killed it. =( The second one, kids told me it was there. I captured and released it.
I feel they deserve to live as much as I do.
I have a paranoid sister who screams every time she sees a spider (although as somebody stated, they're not insects ), making me have to kill them for her. Though I do feel a little guilt when I can feel their body squished below the napkin. But if I don't get rid of them, who knows what they could have done to me? Like a black widow... If I don't kill it, it could kill me.

Yes and no i will kill insects to show bravado infront of womean haha no not really i will kill them if peopel are frightemed by them or if it is a spider or something and my kids are around. But if i am at work then i try not to kill them when ever possible and relocate them aftre all they were on earth longer than us.

Nope. Respect my ****ing privacy and stay in the places I don't go. If you're in the middle of my kitchen floor, or anywhere near me, you're ****ing toast buddy. And it's your fault, not mine. Respect it.
Ants are cool, though if they get near my food i'll kill them.
No one gets near my food but me

if its a big gushy one i cant kill the bug just because of the sound it makes. but tiny ants and stuff i can.

I feel there are better option for some bugs you might find in your home. Usually if it is not something that can harm me I will think twice before either squishing it or putting it outside. I more than normally will squish it.
Me and SO got into a debate over the usefulness of the dumb cat. He claimed that it alerted us to the bugs and pests in the house. So she serves her purpose. That night I went into our bedroom to find a wolf spider in the middle of the floor. From far away it looked brown *indicating a recluse* so I called for SO. After seeing it and about 1 million of it's kids clinging to it's back he smashed it with a shoe and Lysol the entire bedroom floor almost and then vacuumed it. Before finding out it was a wolf spider I felt good about killing it. Afterward I felt a little sad it had to die, but then again it was harboring 100's of other spiders. And where was this stupid cat? Right there on the window sill doing absolutely no good to society. >< LOL
My mother used to make me kill spiders. I'd whine and ask to just put them outside, but she would shriek and cry if I didn't. I hated doing it. I didn't even kill the black widow that bit me, my father hunted it down and killed it.
I don't like killing anything. I hit a squirrel once and it quite literally ruined my week. I'm not a PETA nut, but I really don't like killing things. Doesn't bother me if other people do it...
Nope, completely heartless about it. Yeah, I'll stomp on a spider I see until its been squished into oblivion... and really, all he was doing was crawling on the wall... but I still squashed it. As for... actually, no. ALL bugs get the shoe. Not even the crickets can escape from my shoes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But yeah, I suppose other people might feel a bit sad, and then completely forget about it in about five seconds, but for me... I just don't really concern myself with that stuff.

what if its the northern american stag beetle? worth 50 000$? would u still kill it?

I like to think of it like this, if I was smaller than any bug, that bug would eat me. So as somebody many times bigger than bugs, it's my duty to kill them at any chance I get. Do I feel guilty? No. Do they feel guilty for being smaller than me? Absolutely. When I rest my head to go to bed every night, I hear the specters of those bugs speaking to me, because it's my belief that once something dies, no matter if it could speak English while alive or not, it can speak English once dead. They say, "I'm sorry I was small. Please forgive me." And I respond, "No."
For me, it just depends on what type of bug...if it's a normal non threatening bug like a Daddy Long legs or Praying Mantis ( which are pretty bad ass by the way), I'll leave it be. But then again they're are those that are un threatening but un welcome in my house, like roaches eeyyaach!! like when the weather gets hot and they think they can just fee load in my well air conditioned house!! psyche! If I wanted a room mate i'd ask for one...
and don't get me started with flys and other annoying bugs with wings! what the heck are you doing indoors!! the're so stupid, I remember a nat flew right into my eye!! (like straight into it) (!!!) heck, if you can't control your wings, let me have em

It may sound mean, but I will squash spiders, roaches, and beetles with no hesitation.I am terrified of all three of them only because I watched ER one time, and a bug went in the girl's ear and they had to like stick something in her ear to get it out,and I am absolutely scared that will happen to me.Call me a sissy if u want, but thats just how I am.
