I was listening to to the radio today and this topic was brought up.
Have you ever or do you often take the credit for other peoples work?
Or have you had it done to you?

I had one instance at work where I suggested an awesome place to put a commemorative board and I discussed it with my superior and she said that was fine, anyway another boss higher up said that was a stupid idea and my superior then agreed with him.
Anyway a couple days later the male boss came to me and said he had a spot to put it and it was exactly where I said it should go.
But what pissed me off was that he then turns around and tells everyone including the people who donated the bloody thing that it was his idea.
Anywho

Normally it's the other way round, like in your example, Ramses.
For example, I prepared a lesson for tomorrow (8th grade, English - yay) which I have to hold with another person. This awesomely lazy person was stunned by how much I thought about the lesson when we met yesterday to discuss it. (Quote: "So... I thought about a map at the beginning... that's all I could think of." IN FOUR F-ING DAYS?!?!) So it was all MY ideas which we used. Funny thing is that yesterday evening she had a text ready, and a picture for the beginning (not her map, because she completely missed the point of the lesson...). I had to find the other four texts, I printed them out, made some cards for group work... and did everything. O_o
So now it's up to the teacher tomorrow:
- the lesson is bad: all my fault
- the lesson is good: she gets credit for a good lesson she hasn't prepared...
Can't wait to check my mails now, to see if she's done at least ANYTHING. << >>"

It goes both ways in my case, I'm afraid. Not often, still, I recall few instances where I took credit for someone else's work.
While in school for building technician I took my friends idea on certain project and passed it as my own for which I got praise and excellent score. I'm not sure if he ended being mad, it didn't seem that way, he was a bad student and never really cared for school that much, nevertheless, it was wrong of me and I regret doing that.
This girl that seat next to me in art class stole one of my old drawings. I was clueless the entire time until on my surprise I saw that drawing with her name on it on this shabby school exhibit. What bothered me the most though, is that she never really cared to explain herself nor she bothered to apologize.
