There are just a number of topics that don't really fly. Saying that Toph is a closet Muslim is pretty harmless. Saying that Lily is a criminal is funny because as we all know, Australia was a colony for English prisoners.

What if I said Rocco was the product of inbreeding, and that his mom is his sister? What if I said that you got the clap taking it in the ass from some random guy because he told you he loved My Chemical Romance?

Just because it's not true, doesn't mean that it's right to say. That's the point I want to make. There's one thing to make a joke amongst people who know each other and are friends, but another to essentially shit talk a complete stranger.

All I really want out of this is an apology and for the offending messages to be erased. I didn't think it would have to come to something like this, but this is honestly bordering on full blown retarded.

Violet, since Pete's campaign has yet to have reporting (to my knowledge, because Cesar hasn't said otherwise) on offensive behavior, specify that statement to Tiger Lily and her slanderous campaign. Pete and James, being older members, know their limits on what they can get away with.. because that's what they do. All day, every day.

If there isn't a public apology, I feel that there should be an apology from her AND Doc Rocco concerning this mishap. Considering this was HER 'campaign manager' for HER 'campaign'. You should be in control of what is going on and know what is being posted. Honestly, I'm sure the majority of what Pete and James come up with their VM crap is done together on AIM before it's posted. That's just my two cents.

I think you could look at my posts and see what is acceptable and is not. A few days ago, I accused Jay of flip-flopping on offshore drilling and Tiger Lily of being descended from criminals. The first is ludicrous because he has nothing to do with offshore drilling and the second is very tongue-in-cheek. When I called Jay a secret Muslim, when I accused Tiger Lily of having track marks, these aren't really offensive because they are so out of left field.

The only time it got touchy was in regards to Jay's life choices, and I feel that we remedied it appropriately.

I would be most proud to offer such a service to Pete.

Pete, the older members are clambering for better post quality and the younger for higher post quantity. As S-Mod, what do you plan to do to address both issues? Also, what are your view points on one line responses? Are they to be punished or tolerated if on topic?

Well, I'll answer both questions in one fell swoop.

Post counts for one will be abolished. There, everyone wins and loses at the same time. The will be no need for the newer members to complain that they have low post counts and spam to raid them, and there will be no reason for older members to complain about the new members, when many of the older guys did the exact same thing. It's pretty retroactive and it's awesome. Plus, it'll make people look a lot less loser-ish when they have like 10k posts in 2 years.

On top of that, I also demand screening tests for all new members. They would be simple intelligence and iq tests, designed to weed out normal members with standard intelligence and posting ability from... you know, the dregs. Liike diis, wOrd.

Also, typing tests for all, lest the offenders be mocked. There is no place in the English language or random capitals and the insertion of random extra letters. Your personality is for your sig and the content of your posts, and for the love of God, manipulate the words of the English language to share your opinion, but don't destroy the words trying to express yourself.

As for one liners, I'm all for them, so long as they're on topic AND relevant. If there's a thread about "what's your favorite dog breed?", responding with "I like dogs" won't cut it. Something like
"I love huskies and bull mastiffs, but hate poodles and those little Paris Hilton dogs" is a legit one liner.
