Ok so I am sure this has been made before, but I might make this a bit different.

First what type of pet/s do you prefer it can be any kind from scaly to furry and/or what pets do you have, strange ones will be greatly appreciated.

Well we have 22 pets all up

9 rats, 1 dog, 2 fish, 1 Cockateil, 1 Princess parrot, 1 Love bird and 7 budgies

Its great they all have their different personalities (except for the budgies)

Our dog is very loyal and cheeky and loves to re-landscape the yard, Our Cockateil is very proud of herself and thinks she owns the joint but she loves cuddles when she is in the mood, the princess parrot is also cheeky like a young child always testing how far he can go with us but he is only still young.

The only pets I've ever had are Cats, usually only outdoor because my brother had horrid allergies, worse than mine...A fish that I had since the first grade, he died a couple years ago, and I'm sad because he would still be alive, (It was my brothers fault) >=(...and budgies. I've had four all together including the two I have now. The only pets I have right now are just my birds that's about it.

hahaha, that's because you probably don't spend enough time with them XD you have to get them used to your hand so they aren't little weenies, but if you have more than 2 it's hard to do.

No no they are just all little weenies hahaha and yeah there is to many although we do have one that likes to be touched and he isn't as skittish as the others we call him Hulk because he is really fluffy and bigger than the rest and we did have a reall young budgie but she escaped

Cats are cool. Dogs are cool. I'd rather have a cat, and fish. I used to like birds, then I used to hate them, now I don't mind them at all.

Right now I have a cat, dog and a fish. Rather just take the dog out the picture.

2 arowana (1 Australian golden, 1 South American silver)

1 snakehead fish
1 eel (not sure on species)
numerous cichlids.

As the list probably tells, I love animals. Cats are brilliant companions, and all have such unique personalities. Other animals, such as fish and reptiles are just fascinating to watch. I can spend several minutes just watching an interesting fishtank, and of course it is strange when I go back to university, although my flatmate has a cat called Charlie so it isn't all lonely! When I was a kid I had rabbits and guineapigs, and at one point a hamster called Cartman (he sounded like Cartman from South Park). I have always had cats- Tiggy and Spooky were the two I grew up with, then we got Izzy and Ozzy, who brought a little malnourished and flea-infested Tiddley to us. Tiddley had 3 litters of kittens, and we kept one from the 2nd litter (Ziggy), and one from the 3rd litter (Cookie). Ziggy was unfortunatly hit by a car a year and a half ago. We've had some other species of fish too, such as African Lungfish.

Geez-la-weez Storm! You have a LOT of pets. That's cool though. Not sure if I personally would want to have tarantulas and a scorpian for a pet. I guess if they're handled properly or have thier poison/fangs removed, they wouldn't be a danger.

I prefer pets that I can hold, cuddle and play with. Dogs or cats are high up on the list, and they are of equal standing. I think my preferred breed of dog would be a beagle, but all dogs are pretty great. I don't think I have a preference when it comes to what breed of cat I would like.

As for my pets right now, I have 2 dogs [Sassafras (girl) and Mister (boy)], 1 cat (Molly) and 1 bird (a cockatiel named Boomer). My dogs are awesome, especially when they're together. Lots of entertainment to be had just from watching them. I talk about my cat constantly () and my bird is kind of smartish. If we worked with him more, he would probably know a lot more than what he does now, but we didn't. He also eats nacho cheese Doritos and cheese nips.

Not gonna lie. I had to look up what a budgie was. Around where I'm from, we call those parakeets. I had one before, it had green and yellow feathers and was beautiful. The only thing I ever got around to teaching it was to walk on my finger when I brushed up on it's belly. It would also bob it's head up and down to music sometimes. It was a long time ago that I had it, so it eventually just passed on. I never got another one.

We used to have a large fish tank full of (you guessed it) fish. I don't remember what kind of fish we had in there, but I remember a few goldfish and some bigger fish. They died because of my nan. We ran out of fish food, so she gave them broken up cornflakes... x__x;

I don't remember being sad. The tank was in a place I couldn't really see it often, so I was just as upset as if my mum had broken a plate I never knew about.

I have a dog now. We've wanted to get another dog too, but our flat is too small. One dog is enough. We've had him since January 2001, when he was about two months old, and he is just the most amazing dog you could have. He's nine years old, and still acts like a puppy. He play bites every now and then, which I think is cute (despite being told not to encourage him) seeing as I know he'd never hurt anyone - he's all bark and no bite. ^^;

His breed is also very complicated. His mum is a Lurcher and his dad was a Yorkshire Terrier. I mean, you tell me how it happened:

They're harmless! The worst of the tarantulas can do no worse than a couple of beestings, and we only handle the gentle ones. We have a Cobalt Blue called Genghis (pretty metallic blue colour) who although isn't one of the biggest, is very ferocious! There have been no recorded deaths from tarantula bites. Spiders, on the other hand, are another matter. Some of them are nasty- a lot of the nasty ones are from Australia! The emporor scorpion is big, but he is a gentle giant and isn't dangerous in the slightest. It's the little buggers with the small pincers and big venom sacs you have to watch out for.

Funnily enough we got our first tarantula becuase my dad wanted to overcome his fear of them. The first one was a Chilean rose, which people often say is the best type to keep as a pet. Soon after we got a Uraguay black. after that we got more. A number of ours we got from tiny hatchlings that fit in a camera film capsule. It's really rewarding seeing them get big!

We have 2 cats now, though.. it was 4.. the other 2 is Living now on our neighborhood..

So much years that I’ve took care of cats.. so, now I want to have dogs or puppies.. they’re very cute but I want the tough one.. Like German Shepherd or.. something Like big dogs that are easy to train.. :-)

I go with dogs. I love those little buggers but I love animals in general. But I have a min-pin(dog) and a ghost tetra(fish)

I'm not inclined towards either species, really... Although cats are easier to be around.

We have:

5 Dogs (1 Basset Hound, 1 Jack Russel, 3 Labrador Retrievers)
1 Goat
1 Horse (Used to have 2, then we sold one)
1 Stray Cat (But he comes by so much, he's practically ours, anyway. )

I USED to have two cats, but one ran away. (The one that ran away was the PAID FOR cat, how ironic... >_>)

Everything's outside, though, so there's no real hassle other than feeding them all.

I prefer dog over any pet, I don't have a dog right now nor will I have one anytime soon. I used to have a pure German Shepherd dog, well trained, obedient and playful. She practically grew along with me, she was a great dog and a great friend for 11 years. Now I have 4 cats, unusually big cats. I also have a hamster, but not a ordinary hamster. My friend breeds special kind, they're small, cute and most importantly they stay that way, the only thing that grows is their fur.

I love animals my first job ever was at a Pet Land. I don't have as many animals as some of you, but the few I have kick ass..

I have 2 dogs. One is a BullMastiff named Odin. He is huge, but I have had him for almost ten years now. So he sleeps all f*cking day, and really doesn't cause problems. Then me and my roommate have a Blue Nose Gator Mouth Pitbull named Billy Bad Ass, we just stick with Billy though. He is trained, and goes on attack commands. Unless he is given a command he is normally really chill, and sleeps like Odin.

I also have a Red-Tail Boa Constrictor. For those who do not know it is a very aggressive snake. My roommate won't even take him out of the tank any more cause the first time he did he got bit. He has bit me once in the two years I have had him.
