Shh... we don't mention my age Andromeda... that is a minor detail.

Speaking of RP's... if any of you remember the MASAMUNE forums back in the day when we had that as the alternate to TFF when TFF was going through downtime, but I started an RP there called Relativity that I may post up here and get started again. I believe it was originally me, Nightshade and SS, then they disappeared but I really liked the story so me and Shagamuffin sort of took it up again. I will probably type it up and post it here and see if it takes off again.

I actually think Sherry was involved too... if only for a small portion. Was that correct Sherry? Its a 4 person RP

I just sat and read through all of this. My eyes hurt fairly bad.

I registered early 02 I believe after I was searching around for some FF trivia stuff. Found this forum, found the rpb forum and spammed the place up for a few years.

Im pretty much just a lurker nowadays tho. I miss the days of RPB's with Mydako, being in Itazura and having lots of rpb rivals. I wish I was little again!

I also remember Ali and the swimsuits, me and Usagy being little sleazy guys aswell! :P

I brought, Battleofhoth here once upon a time and we pissed off all the 'metalheads' for a good few months.

And that is correct what Ocean said. I have no problems with someone, anyone creating such a RP. I've actually suggested it on a couple occasions, because for me I miss seeing them. They make me think of the old days when we pretty much RP'd everything. If there was an award ceremony it was a RP, if there was a wedding it was a RP, even a Ball.

You know all you are really missing to make it perfect is Quistis, and maybe Tiff. Maybe you can get Takashi to join you. I know he floats around still, namely in the FFXI forum was the last place I saw him. I'd imagine Quistis is around once and a while. She'd probably enjoy a RP like that, she always seemed to.

The RP is a nice idea, though I probably wont participate. My RP days are looong gone.

Then again, this is a rare breed of RP for a special occasion... but I don't know how active I'd be able to be in it :S

It wouldn't be a particularly long RP or anything. Long enough for people to show up, have a bite, go swimming, get drunk, and then go home. I'm not trying to write an epic here.

I'm trying to decide whether I'd really be interested or not. On the one hand, it involves a bunch of older members that I haven't seen post in a long time posting. On the other hand, to be completely honest, and not to be like "That's a stupid idea, Alisyn and/or Quina!" (yes, I know you by the sn "Quina," RA) because I know that a lot of other people have enjoyed things like these in the past and probably would enjoy this one, but a BBQ RP does not sound like my cup of tea. Although I could come in and play the roll of the antisocial jerk. That might be fun! Anyhoo...

Remember when you had to have 200 posts just to have a custom avatar? That was done away with a while ago, but when I joined you had to earn the right to have customization. Now we get large fancy avatars over 100 pixels. I remember when 75 was the limit.

SOLDIER had a 1000 post requirement huh? I had that in like a month. ^^; Though a 1000 posts is still a lot even these days. It usually takes people a year or half a year at least to get a 1000 posts. At least the good members it does, though I think the ones that spam up to the 100s fade out quickly. So it ends up being the ones in the 1000s are good members anyway.

I think I remember a pool party, I don't know if it was the same pool party you are speaking about. There were probably several. But that aside, maybe you should just start up a thread for it Ocean. And just see who you get. Maybe PM people to prod them into the RP. It'll be fun no matter how many people you have in it.

The best part is that the width maximum was 105 pixels for a time, and I never changed my avatar since. The maximum is now 100, but that's only checked when the image uploads, so I beat the system :p

A pool party RP, i was probably gone during that time but i do remember a valentines RP along time ago. There was a thread with everybody asking each other to be there date. Quistis was the most wanted back then. In the RP I went stag and ended up drunk and passed out at the bar. I think that was the last RP I ever did.

Ill attend your wee RP. If only for nostalgia sake. Apart from this thread it will most likely be my only activity here unless some awesome threads appear.

No, post count is irrelevant in any forum, I dont care where I post. I posted crappy knowing full well what I did, you would have been in every right to give me a warning. Unlike most people, I don't see one warning as the end of the world or doomed membership, its just that a warning, and i know full well I sometimes post total risky crap in topics, because thats what comes to mind and I feel thats the post I want to make without dragging out unnessecary information because I don't want to risk being labeled for spamming. I post how I post, I post the way I am, and if it brushes the edges, so be it.

and I think the whole point is, the rules are only as good as the people who enforce them, and one warning isn't going to get you banned, so you just gotta tread lightly. Forums are a form of social interaction, so I say, take a personality, or let YOUR personality come out, why not have some fun with it. Pete is a man behind a keyboard, you could act NOTHING like you post here, but you assume a new "alter-ego" when you come here, and thats cool.

It's true. Right now I'm just wearing some guinness shorts. It's really sad though, cause if you think about it, when I'm not naked, I've been wearing beer underwear/ sleepwear for the past few days, straight. Haha I still remember back then where RP/RPB was the shit with all them Clan Wars. Me being in Tantalus then joining SOLDIER. I was a moderator for a while too! Good times good times.

I'll always remember you Skai. You were in charger of the RP forum for a while and I think you helped me with the FFXI forum at one point as well. Though both are now mine. Speaking of which, Fuzz is going to be getting me something together for the FFXI site of main site for content management. I'll need knowledgeable people to help me get the site on par with the better resource sites out there. You play FFXI far more than I me anymore, but that is due to one thing or another. I'd be back in FFXI if I didn't have 9 games to beat.

I don't think that I have ever RP'd with you, but then again maybe I have. But we were in different Clans for the Clan Wars, so never saw each on the battlefield or what not. No one saw anyone in Clan Wars unless it was your own clan members.
