I was the moderator of General Gaming for a while. I literally had nothing to do for months at a time. Fairly heavy Club and RPB guy, too.

TFF has been funny as shit today. Just look around; it's glorious.

Still, I've got to do the mod thing and ask everyone to avoid posts tending toward spam. I understand this is sort of a social thread, so I'm not worried about interaction. Just keep the rules in mind and try to add new things to the discussion.

Wheew a lot of people from the oldies.......hehehe its been a while since I've posted in here so I don't know how many people left or how many new people got in here also. ;! Well, I've been here since April 2001 as Eden56 but I quickly changed it to what it is now. I even changed it later to Shenlong but that really didn't work out so I came back to what you see right now. I sometimes lurk in here if there is something new once in a while, but for some reason I can't be gone for that long. For me its kinda ironic that I'm posting in here and in the old days I didn't post that much or was that talkative. :P But good to know that you guys are ok.

PS: I still got the ~Proud Member of Tantalus~ way back when we had the Clans and the Clan Wars. Good times, good times!!!

I found out about this place in 2000 or 2001. Like...7 years I guess.

I found it before I even had a computer, I went to the library to post on this forum because I was poor. I simply was looking for Final Fantasy help and was kicked out of FFWA after 2 weeks of being inactive, so I was like...screw you guys...I'm finding some other place to go to.

I don't really have a lot of fond memories or bad memories. I liked my best friend Evil Nix but I never see him anymore, and I liked Omegagear. There were some other odd friends I had, that showed up very intermittently. I dunno, I never was staff, nor was part of any team or club so I didn't really get too vested with many other people here. I just kinda posted whenever I felt like it and that was that.

I remember Quistis who was my only relative on this site, and then we kind of grew apart as she became popular and famous and I kind of just did my own thing.

The biggest disappointment was still the time when the site banned a dyslexic member that couldn't type correctly because he couldn't see on screen that it didn't look right. I remember getting a pm once from his sister saying that she was helping him type. I dunno, to me it was really sad, it was like we were discriminating against people and that was when I made the decision to leave.

I didn't want to be a part of a place that discriminated against people for there handicaps or ailments. That's beyond horrid behaviour.

Thirdly... here comes the reminiscent ramble:

I joined TFF when i was BIG into FF, im not big into it anymore as the FF series has went downhill IMO and so i became as active as a gay mans willy in a female whore house.
I joined with the name Phoenix and began dominating the FF7 forum with my vast knowledge of the game and the RP forums as it was a post whores dream to raise their post count. I became friends with Simara (i think her name was, she was leader of the emerald knights or whatever it was called back then) Within two weeks i was a co-leader of that clan/group making me mod. I also remember getting my first warning from psychosyd for bumping one of my rpb threads, double posting was a really bad thing back then and im guessing still is now.

I became friends with many people Cyan, Korova, Cobain, heero, Masaki yakoto, dawezy, Soldier #819, Quistis, Spekkio, Mydako, Kazanthikus, True Omega, Starsoldier, Danger (most of who have prob changed their names by now or fecked off and if you have and are still around let me know your new alias!) And all the craziacs in the EBG !! I've prob missed a few peeps, sorry its been a few years.


I then became mod of FF7 forum and shortley after was given Super Mod status, i dont know how i ever got it as i was the biggest asshole probably on these forums and not very friendly to some peeps. But it was all part of my character, and i ruled the forums with an iron fist! But **** it i done it all by the book ! : D

I was never good at RPB's, however alot of people for some reason or another thought i was one of the best. I even remember being put in a rpb fight against Mydako for some tournament, this guy was good at rping. His intro was like 10 paragraphs long and there was no way i was even arsed competing with that.. so i just went to one of Mydakos epic old rpb posts and stole the introduction and just changed his name around with my own and posted it. It went on for ages, i just kept stealing his old material and reposting it as my own, it was hilarious, even funnier when i finally told him what i was doing.. he hadn't got a clue..

Ah good times now thinking about it, such a shame the wheels of change ruined it all :(

This is probably the longest post ive ever made so im gonna end here before i have a heart attack, plus that doobs wearing off and its 2:30 in the AM for me, if ya read all this then fair fupin play to ya ! Hehe the linky is in relation to the the old aim chats, we used to have where i introduced Fup a substitue for fuck to the yanks who prob still use it today =P

If it helps, I remember when you were a mod when I first joined. And as a fragile 15 year old, I have to tell you... you were terrifying.

But I mean... you made me want to be a better member? Mostly because I was pretty sure you could have made me cry. Happy memories! :)

Heh. I remember being in the old, early Hall of Doom/Pie chats with people like Mydako and Omegagear, and feeling like the biggest newbie in existence by comparison. I remember one time it was just Mydako and me, and he was like "Oh, so I'm stuck with you :P," or something. I also remember that in his announcement thread for whatever forum it was he was moderator of, he had some midi play. How the hell did he do that? Anyhoo...

I miss soldier, no wait, SOLDIER, and being better than everyone. Thats what I really miss about TFF. That and the idea that some kid who's nuts haven't even dropped yet can belittle me and it would be ok, because it's the internet.

Its true, we were never friends though we have both been here for a long time. Isn't it funny how things like that work?

I just want to say how cool it is to see how many lurkers there are floating around these days, Sherry with my old RP crew and everybody else. I think its great to just see so many faces floating around again

I have no idea how I stumbled upon this forum. I just did, somehow.
