Bored...

You know you all get it. It happens more often than you'd think. I must be pretty bored to have to post about a thread ABOUT being bored. So... what do you do when you're bored? What's your most non-entertaining, drained of all emotion, blandest, most boring moment EVER?

I don't really tend to get bored, since I'm in college, and any time can be well spend on studying. But I often feel really guilty for not studying or not sleeping (like now), and the guild really eats his way through me.

Though I used to get bored when it was vacation in High School. But once I had a guitar and rediscovered FF IX and stuff, I never actually got bored. Though I feel awkward for not being social in some periods. Like the exam period right now.

Makes me feel more depressed than I usually am...

But I'm just me.

I don't get bored a whole lot, only when I find nothing of absolute interest, like right now. Maybe if I turn in and come back tomorrow, my "phase" will be gone...

No, but i do believe it will be moved to General Chat.

When I'm bored, I just go grab a bite, and then go to bed. But, I don't usually get bored unless I'm through with playing video games. I remember the most boring day was when it was really hot, and I had nothing left to do. Nobody was around, and so all I could do was close my eyes and sleep on the carpet.

My most boring day was on... a Sunday! Around three years agom we came back from a vacation. Of course, afterwards no one did ANYTHING. If got even more boring when the power went out, and nothing worked. I remember lying on the couch just blankly staring at the ceiling. It was another 4 hours later until the power returned. But still, the damage had been done.

I find it strange that you guys can't seem to find anything to do except for videogames. Not very healthy, ey lads. ^_^ Though I can't say I'd be doing much if I hadn't my computer to waste time on, a good National Geographic magazine to read or a great movie or something. Let alone if my guitar were not around -_-"

Read 'Never Let Me Go' by Kazuo Ishiguro. The title is not representative for the story at all, don't worry. One of the best novels I know. And that's coming from a Literature student.

I'm not really a big fan of reading. By my own volition, I've only read about four or five books. I find it tiring just staring at words for a long time. I don't have dyslexia; I have a really high reading level for my age, but it's still pretty dull!

I remember I first joined this forum when I was bored.

Anyway, I usually post on the forums when I'm bored, which apparently doesn't happen very much anymore. :/ This time of the year is usually pretty boring for me. School is ending and I don't really have to study very much anymore or do any homework. I suppose I am not really bored very often, though, because I can always find something to do. I was bored more often when I was younger, but now most of the time I have so much to do, that I wish I was bored more often.

There was a point in time when I played games here when I was bored.

I can't think of what my most boring moment would be. It would be very rare for me to be so bored that I could think of absolutely nothing to do.

It's already the beginning of summer and I'm already bored. The only difference from this summer and all my previous summers is that I'll be doing a lot of volunteer work for school. I'm never bored during school because of studying and homework. I still enjoy summer though since I can catch up on sleep and have more time for hobbies.

When I'm bored, I draw, surf of the internet, sleep, eat, play with my dog, play with my guitar, practice on the piano, and update my iPod with new songs.

I'm currently uploading 9000 songs on iTunes right nao! Great! ( ﾟ▽ﾟ)

Boredom... Argh. The bane of my life @_@ The B word is very prominent in m vocabulary I can tell you.
Recently.. the most bored I was? Well. I was resitting an exam. The exam was fine - fun even. I LOVE MECHANICS <333333 But after the papers were collected and filed away from the candidates we had be in quarantine for one hour. Even though everyone had finished and all papers were filed away you were not allowed to talk to anyone, not allowed to read, no eye contact no nothing. You had to [b]sit[/] in complete silence. For me that was painfully boring. I was watching the clock and praying for time to spread up haha.

As for what I do when I'm bored... well I sketch.. or I make signatures and avatars (when I have Photoshop that is). Oh and well... for the past month I come on TFF ^~. You probably noticed that.
Also when I'm bored I probably moan about more than I do anything about it. One of my fine tactics is to sprawl over the furniture dramatically. It makes people love me more... really...

OH! And of course, a good boredom buster is the PlayStation. (Haha that sounds so dirty.)

With kids you don't get bored, you are either busy reprimanding them for doing something naughty or laughing hysterically at something silly or funny they just did and if i ever do get bored i just wrestle with the kids or go play with the dog not that i have to wait to get bored to actual do that but if i am not already do that then i generally do .. does that make sense.
Anyway when you are running around after kids then there is very little room for boredom they tend to keep you on your toes. Other than that i am at work at there is always work to do so i don't get bored there either.

Oh God, boredom. I usually just post here or play some games or go to a movie. I usually am bored because I don't have any new games to play, it's too hot to do anything outside, no good movies are out, my parents don't want to go anywhere, and I live nowhere even remotely close to my friends. *sigh*, I guess I'll just go to sleep......zzzzzzzzzzz.

When I get bored I usually go for a nap it gives me something to do for 2 hours....Yes I have very long naps xD... I only come to visit this forum like KeybladerXIII and post a bit sometimes will call people and talk maybe even go to my grandparents to play cards and win some oreo cookies >.>....
The most boring thing that I have witnessed up to date was when we had a family reunion back in March and some guy (One of my uncles but can't quite remember the name) gave a huge speech that lasted and hour XD... There was no escape it was absolutely horrible at first it was interesting but after the first half hour I start to go psiko... Some speeches should be long but some just really shouldn't >.>... I think that one was about the future and whats instore and how our family will stay close, I'm sorry but that was just a very dull topic

I don't often get bored since I always seem to have things to do. If, however, I find myself with nothing to do, I will visit a couple of sites, catch up on reading, contribute to one of my works in progress or clean a hamster cage.

I really don't get bored but if I do, I'll just sit down and play a video game or two for a couple of hours or surf the web. Now working on my car will always cure my boredom. Especially when I know my car is acting up.

Boredom is easily remedied by...doing something. So generally I get bored when I'm doing nothing. I try to limit that as much as possible.

Instead of doing nothing, I read, write, play video games, watch anime/tv/movies, go outside, play with the cats, etc. If I'm really out of things to do I'll even clean. Someday I might have a social life, in which case I can then add hanging out with friends to the list.

Btw, for those who don't like reading, try audiobooks. The quality has really improved the last few years and they can be especially nice to have on long drives. Or long afternoons of...boredom. Hah.

I used to be the most bored on Sunday nights at the old store. After the pharmacy closed at 6:00, there was nobody. The store was completely dead for four hours. It sucked. I solved the problem by not working Sunday nights anymore.
