Stuff like that can be really really expensive, and rightly so. If enough people are willing to spend money on it (and being that there were only 26 there's a lot more potential buyers per cartridge, which drives value up) then of course it'll be worth a lot. It's kind of like how wayyyy back in the day when pokemon was popular (old school pokemon, mind you) a 1st Edition Base Set Charizard Holo could go for up to 250 dollars.
