the janemba fight is pretty cool, but i think my favorite fight is the one with evil shenlong (when he's like a pale peach with spikes and 7 dragonballs absorbed) and goku SSJ4 and vegeta SSJ4 fuse and they fight...they mess with shenlong and piss him off soo much when gogeta SSJ4 makes 5 of himslf and is going to do the kamehameha x5 and shenlongs like gonna pee in his pants (if he had them) and all that comes out is confetti...i didnt see the whole fight , only up until they unfuse (by accident) right before destroying him and shenlong gets back all the dragonballs except the 4 star one... i downloaded it on kazaa and there was no sound but there was subs...i also saw the super 17 fight like that and the bebi fight like that (no sound, but subs) can anyone update me on the end of the shenlong fight?

Bah! I just posted here two days ago, actually, and it was about a 900 word post (a little shorter, but you get the point)...too bad I didn't save it on Microsoft Works, then I wouldn't have to type it all over again

Anyway, in the news, I got Movie 8 on August 30 (I believe). I've only gotten a chance to watch the dub once so far, so my review will have to wait a little longer, but overall, it wasn't that bad. The only hang up I had was picked up right away way, though it's basically a given with the US release; that being the overly excessive amount of music they re-do. Not only is the music completely different (again, as I said, that's basically a given for the entire US dub of DBZ) but this one was particularly bad. It was probably because they wanted to push the facts that they were using "real" bands, there was barely any silence during the movie, so I think they need to tone down a bit on the music.

In other news, if anyone happend to see this on my site (hint, hint -_-) this month's Beckett DBZ collector is dedicated to Brolly, so that was a nice read...for me, anyway (The super-detailed Brolly figure that's coming out soon looks amazing; it'll finally give me an excuse to start buying the toys again, as I haven't bought one in...oh, I'd say about 8 months).

Also speaking news-wise, DBZ Taiketsu (I believe was it's name) will be the first game to feature Brolly as a playable character, and it's coming to the GBA soon. Unfortunately, I have absoultely no clue when I'll be buying it (if I even will) because anime has been dominating my money spending lately, and I'm way behind on Games I have to buy (on the top of my list is F-Zero for GameCube and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow for GBA, and I also want FF Tactics Advance, too...oh, and Legacy of Goku II maybe)...yeah, so I'm really behind in that >_<

Anyway, sorry to say it anamaniac, but I'll be holding off on answering your question about the Li Shenron fight for a little while. Why? Because today's re-posting of the GT summaries is what I dubbed Part 5.5. I only did 6 parts, and I stopped right around where the Li Shenron fight starts (I believe). After I get Part VI posted, I'll be writing a (totally new, never before posted) Part VII to conclude the GT series.

That being said, here's Part 5.5, which I used to ease everyone into the Evil Shenron Saga:

Now, like I said, for everyone's enjoyment, and to ease us into the Evil Shenron saga, I'll provide a brief summary of each of the Dragons (note, for convince purposes, I'll just be calling them One star Dragon, Two star...etc.) Lets work backwards (the lower the number, the stronger they are, essentially). Remember, each dragon was formed from the "negative energy" accumulated in each ball after a specific wish:

7 Star Shenron: A weak dragon who looks kind of like a mole. He represents the wish that was made to resurrect all the good people Vegeta killed at the 25th Tenkaichi Budoukai back to life.

6 Star Shenron: Actually, this one is an attractive female dragon whom villagers worship as a God for her beauty and call her "Princess Oto". She represents the wish Oolong made way back in DragonBall for a pair of Panties (which is pretty ironic, if you think about it--a wish for panties results in an attractive women...Oolong got more than he bargained for ^^ )

5 Star Shenron: This is a pretty much harmless dragon...the only problem is that he can form a protective barrier around himself. He represents another old wish, the wish to bring Goku back to life during the Saiyan Saga.

4 Star Shenron: Obviously special for Goku, because he controls the ball which Goku believes contains his grandfather's spirit. He controls heat, and can generate temperatures greater than the Sun. He also helps Goku out later on, but I don't want to spoil anything (yet^^). He represents yet another old wish, that being the wish Piccolo Daimaoh made to restore his youth.

3 Star Shenron: The Brother of 4 Star Shenron, and completely the opposite. He can create freezing cold temperatures (he actually freezes Goku's arms and legs, but again, that's a different story). This Dragon represents the wish to erase everybody's memories of Majin Buu.[/B]

2 Star Shenron: (almost done!) A big Frog-looking dragon. He represents the wish (again, another DragonBall wish) that brought Bora back to life.

Li Shenron (One Star Shenron). The only Dragon whom I've bothered memorizing his name, and for good reason. He's, in my opinion one of the coolest looking characters in the entire series (besides SSJ4 Goku, of course ). He actually swallows all the DragonBalls, which makes him nearly invincible. Even when SSJ4Goku and SSJ4 Vegeta fuse into SSJ4 Gogeta, they can't beat him (well, technically, they could have, but since they had such an immense power level, the fusion only lasted a few minutes instead of 30, so they didn't have time). He represents the wish to bring back everyone Frieza and his henchmen killed on Namek.

Well, I've been meaning to post here for the last few days, but I've decided to hold off for today. Why, you may ask? Wellthere's a good reason!

Today's our 2 Year Anniversary! ^_^

Yes, that's right; this day, two years ago our club came into existence!

Aside from me posting the standard GT summary (this is the last one; next time I'll have to write an entirely new one ^^) today's going to be pretty laid back in celebration of our birthday.

Our discussion question will be the same as it basically was last year:

Looking back on the past two years, what memories do you have of our lovely little club?

They can be fond memories, memories about arguments, random things you remember; absolutely anything, as long as it's a memory of this club. As for me, I'll start now and finish up next time.

One thing that sticks out in my mind is the word count of my post. If you looked at my posts two years ago, they'd probably be about 200 words, with an occasional reaching the 300 mark followed by me saying something to the effect of "wow, that was pretty long!" Obviously, over the last two years, that's certainly changed, as everyone here can attest to. Rarely will you see a post of mine now under 200 words (not that anyone cares, but my average is about 450 now -_-')

Another fond memory is Scorpian and his love for Bulma. Sure, there are more important things to remember, but one thing that always sticks out in my mind is Scorpian's "obsession" with her (and his favorite part of her...or should I say parts )

My misspelling people's names is another fond memory. 121161, Conan, Andromeda (the original, whose name is now changed), Delita, and probably my most infamous, and the Arkaine Ultimus "Feuteur Trunks" incident, (in which I went many months of posting that name in the RP roster without fixing or even noticing it >_<) are just some of the many names of fellow TFFers I’ve managed to misspell ^^

By far, and I think everyone will agree, our club's biggest memory and our inside joke, is probably our RP. With the idea brought up by Tifa in October (I believe 24) of 2001, it's been nearly two years of us talking about it and setting up aspects of it, but it still hasn't happened. Because of that, I think that should be our club's running joke, as no body knows if it'll ever even happen >_<

Actually, to keep us focused, I think I'll hold off on that GT summary so we can focus on our club memories.

Everyone, even though we seem inactive as of late, try and stop by and give a warm happy birthday to one of the oldest (and best!) clubs here at TFF; Happy Birthday to us!

Um... Animaniac, Bra's name in Japanese is Bura, I think they or you have your information wrong. And the pun is they're all named after a pair of undergarments. Trunks -- Trunks. Bra -- Bra. Bulma -- Bloomers. Dr. Briefs -- Underwear.

Goldberg would definitely be the best Nappa, but I still think they need to get Mr. T in the movie somehow. I pity the foo who doesn't agree with me!

True, Gohan reached Mystic Gohan stage, but that doesn't mean there isn't a Mystic Saiyan level. Perhaps this Mystic Saiyan is only shown in the Japanese version of it.

Woah, it's been less than a week since I've posted, and already 10 responses! Not only that, but we have two or three new members wanting to join--talk about a nice boost in activity ^^

First off, (yes, I'll try to work in things chronologically for the most part today) welcome to the club Eiko! It's nice to see a new face here, and new members are certainly always welcome. And in response to what you said in your first post, yes, when I (or whoever it was) mentioned Goldberg playing Nappa, (possibly) we were indeed talking about the WWE Superstar ^^.

blueeyes, you, too are of course welcome in this club. I think you may have actually joined once before, but I may just be thinking of the Yu-Gi-Oh! club (and yes, for those members of that club who post here, I will be posting in there today or tomorrow, so don't think I've forgotten about the club ^^). In any case, you're welcome to join, too ^_^

Link3490, even though you didn't ask, I'm fairly certain you're not already a member of this club, but if you want to join, you're certainly welcome to (if you're already a member of this club, I apologize, but as I see you only joined a little over a month ago, I don't recall seeing you here before, as I don't think we've had someone new join since Anamaniac, who joined in June).

Hmm...also, for whoever asked about who the leaders and co-leaders of this club were, (if you couldn't guess already) I'm the leader, and we actually don't have a co-leader. Yeah, I really should have appointed one in the two plus years we've been in existence, but I never got around to it -_-'. The closest person I'd say fit the description of co-leader would be Spike, as he's usually the person I have fill in for me as leader when I go on vacation or am unable to use the computer for extended periods of time.

In other news, Eiko and Anamaniac, just cool down a little ^^. Yes, I agree that blueeyes could have added a little to his post so it wouldn't seem like spam, but since it was his first post here, I'll let it slide, and I don't think it's worth arguing over; Eiko, Anamaniac was just trying to do what was right, and Anamaniac, Eiko's partially right as well, but like I said, just cool down, the both of you...remember, Love and Peace

Now, to answer Anamaniac's question about Super Saiyan levels, here's my take on the different forms (and for newer members, be warned, I usually will switch quite randomly between dubbed and subbed terminology ^^):

-Saiya-Jin (regular)

-Super Saiya-Jin 1

-Ultra Super Saiyan (the one where the body gets super big, like Brolly does)

-Umm...I forgot what it's called, but it's between USSJ and SSJ2; the one Future Trunks is in when he's fighting Perfect Cell.

-Super Saiyan 2

-Super Saiyan 3

-Super Saiyan 4

Also, to note, I didn't include the Oozaru and Golden Oozaru, as I don't technically consider them "forms" of Super Saiyans, though they technically could be counted as thus. If you wanted to fit them in to the above listing, Oozaru would go between Saiyan (regular) and Super Saiyan, and the Golden Oozaru would go right before Super Saiya-Jin 4, as one has to go into that state and control his rage in order to turn into the regular SSJ4.

Now, as far as the "mystic" form goes (for Gohan), I personally don't consider it an actual form of Super Saiyan. To me, because Gohan didn't really undergo any physical changes, it didn't signify a different level. For example, when Gohan gets his latent power revealed in Namek by Guru, he didn't increase to a new "level'," but merely had powers brought out from within.

The same time anyone underwent any sort of training; whether it be Goku and Krillin's initial training from Master Roshi, to the King Kai training of everyone, even Gohan on the Supreme Kai's planet, training is just training, and bringing out latent power is just that. To me, "Mystic Gohan" is just a fan term used to identify Gohan after his power boost.

As far as the original Japanese version goes (yes, for those new to the club who don't know, I have seen all the episodes subtitled) I don't recall them ever using that term specifically, but it's been a good year or so since I rented any of the subtitled VHS tapes, so there is a chance I could be wrong.

Phew! It feels good to get a nice, quality post in here after so long. Hopefully with all the new members, we'll experience a nice boost in activity.

you see....ultimate saiyan is the stage where the body strength and body mass increase , but the movement and speed decrease due to the size change...this stage has been reached by trunks like you said (i already knew that) and brolly...if you want to even count it goku(only the way he looks), when hes fighting frieza and he first turns ssj, but the changed the way they drew ssjs after the frieza, and drew them less bulky...to tell you the truth, those damn editors cut out the most conflicting scene in the hyperbolic time chamber...(goku could turn ssj2 but he wanted to stay in ssj1 to master it)...and the talk when goku is like paralized on the ground after the 1st fight with vegeta...he gets all sympathetic and crap about why they shouldnt kill vegeta...the editors cut the hyperbolic time chamber scene out and they reduced the goku vegeta speech to a matter of like 2 sentences...but back to what i was talking about with the ultimate ssj...goku and vegeta could have turned ultimate, but they both knew that they would be to slow and couldnt defeat cell...and trunks...trunks had a lot more power than cell and could have beat him, but he was too slow and couldnt hit him..

the two stages you listed above ssj4 goku are 1 in the same...ultimate ssj

They call him Bejiita in Japan? Well, I watched a Chinese subbed version and they called him Bejiita too. But, that's not too suprising I guess, since DB-Z-GT is from Japan. But it's kinda strange. How did the people that translated DBZ do so well in the name translation part? (i.e. How did they make Videl's name in English , who's name in Japanese means 'devil', have mixed up letters for the devil? And it doesn't sound 'too' different from the Japanese version.) That's pretty cool....

Woo! haven't had one of these in a few months: Japanese lesson, SSJ4 Goku style! Prepared to be interested! (or bored; you make the call ^^)...

Well, to clear up a few things, the name "spellings" Eiko posted were very...how to say...phonetic. Yes, if one were literally translating into Romanji, you could write it that way, but things that sound English (which are usually written using Katakana; an alphabet for writing foreign words) usually can get written looking pretty English (if that makes any sense^^). I don't know if I've explained this before, but there aren't many "letters" in the Japanese language that can stand by themselves (the exceptions being "e" and "o"). Many, when translated, break into letter clusters, like "ku," or "ryu." As a result, you it's basically impossible to write something in complete English (the way we'd write something; that is, you can't write the letters "th" together, because there isn't a single letter "t" ) because it just wouldn't be possible for the Japanese language.

Take, for example (first, a non-DBZ example, followed later by a DVZ example). The show "FLCL." The "English" way to pronounce the title would be how they try saying it during the eye-catch (for those familiar with the show) like "Flee Klee." But in the Japanese language, it's impossible to get that sound, so they had to use the "letters" Fu, Ri, and Ku (which, when put together, would be written, in Romanji, Furi Kuri, which is where the "Westernized" pronunciation "Fooly Cooly" comes from). Because it is impossible to represent the letters FLCL in the Japanese language they had to go with the best possible way to make it sound like what they wanted.

Now, likewise, take Bardok's name, for example. Now, Akira Toriyama liking to work with Puns, he knew the name he wanted to give his character, but due to letter restrictions, it's not within the physical bounds of their language to be able to pronounce it like we would, and thus comes out sounding like "Bah-dock-u."

Also, for those who asked about the "B" and "V" in Videl and Vegeta's name, I don't have as technical an explanation for you, but I'll try.

Vegeta's name is obviously meant to be a pun on the word Vegetable. Now in Japanese, as I've already explained, you can't just stick "letters" together, as they're usually in a pattern. Now, the Japanese word for Vegetable is written in Romanji (taken from the foreign word, so it sounds very phonetic, and is therefore in the Katakana category of their written language) "Bejitaburu" (say it to yourselves a few times; you'll start to hear it). If you were to break apart the word Vegetable, it would look like Veg-et-able, and for Vegeta's name in Japanese, "Be-ji-ta-bu-ru." In both the English and Japanese, we drop the "ble" part to form his name. Also, as far as why it's written with a "B" in stead of a "V," the differentiation is very small in several languages.

For exampleI study in schoo, the foreign language l is Spanish. In Spanish, words with a "V" in them are usually (well, basically always) meant to come out sounding like a "B." The word Cowboy, for example, is written vaquero, but when spoken, it sounds like "bah-CARE-oh." I mean, similar with the way the Japanese will use the letter "M" and "L" interchangeably, there really isn't much differentiation when you say the two.

Again, stop and say "Vegeta" to yourself. Now say it with a "B" in stead of with a "V" ("Begeta"). Does it not sound similar?

Anyway, the same goes for Videl's name. You simply can't wite "Videl" in Katakana characters, because the letter combinations don't exist. So what do you do? Try to get it as phonetically similar as possible. That leaves us with the clusters "bi," "de," and "ru." Again, the reason it probably looks strange for Americans not familiar with hearing spoken Japanese, try saying "Bii-deh-rue". Does it not sound similar to Videl?

Lastly, just a correction to the name translations you posted, Eiko. While most were correct, Goten's name actually means "palace" or "court" (as in the court of a King, not a civil/criminal courtroom).

Heaven (what you wrote as the definition for Goten) is actually expressed as "tengoku," or, really, could be expressed as just "ten" (the word "ten" by itself does mean Heaven, but it more aptly translates into "the heavens" in the sense of the sky; almost like in context of the sentence "he was looking out into the heavens." Adding the word goku, (which basically--among other things-- can mean "a place") enhances feel (if that makes sense to anyone ^^) of the actual word Heaven--as in the Biblical place, or really if you want to translate tengoku literally, it could be read as "place in the sky"). Also, another synonym could be "rakuen," a phrase uttered a lot in Wolf's Rain, where they're trying to reach Paradise (which is rakuen). And on an off-topic, rakuen is the name of my favorite song from Trigun, the one that (fittingly) plays when Wolfwood is entering the Church (fans of the series should know what I'm talking about).

Oh, and lastly, sorry about making such a stupid mistake in my last post about the USSJ transformation that I had listed twice. Thank you for pointing it out, Anamaniac (what's this, SSJ4 Goku making a DBZ-related mistake? I hope I'm not getting rusty )

thats total alright ssj4 goku...i too am cleaning off the rust from my old dbz days...heres my story...the first anime ive ever seen is dbz...ever...and i went all crazy about it, and started watching it before most people started watchin it in america, i think it was 1996 when i started, but anyway i looked on a hell lot of sites in search of infinate dbz knowledge, and i achieved about 90% of all dbz-gt knowledge of dbz...i did know there was a dragon ball series but it never came out till i think 2001 or somethin...but kids in my school hated dbz cause they thought it was gay cause the episodes they saw were when the characters were screaming and rocks were flying up...little did they know the characters were powering up.... and so my knowledge on dbz was rejected because of my old school and the fact that they didnt show new episodes on toonami...at the time they stopped the series with the episode when goku fights jaice and burter...but i started loving it again when new episodes came on,but then they stopped again, and started, and stopped, etc. the series really slowed down after the cell games into the majin buu saga it kinda got boring sorry, because then i started watching new good animes...(usually what they used to put on toonami was pretty crap filled...but now dragonball is really good

just a question...when are they gonna start dbgt? there is a stupid hotwheels races on at 6:30 on fridays....help me!

Uhmm...sozz SSJ4Goku for not posting here in like ages, but well I'm back again..big time..whehe.
I'm glad to see that the club is still pretty much active and with a lot of new members as well. Nice to see that DBZ has managed to interest a lot more people nowadays.

I guess in the meantime I've gotten a bit of a bigger knowledge about DB/DBZ/DBGT and stuff like that..

I noticed Animaniac asking about GT, hasn't GT been broadcasted yet in the USA then? Since they're pretty far already here with GT (in Holland)..Goky has turned into a SSJ4 already and he has almsot slaughtered all the dragons created from the darkstar dragon balls..so well..yeah.

Well, don't worry Usagy, I'm still here. News has been slow, so I've been letting it pile up, though even now there's not an incredible amount to post, but we'll push on nevertheless.

On the topic of GT: No, Usagy, GT still hasn't aired here in the US yet. It was initially set for an October 3rd release date, but for some unknown reason, it didn't happen. Now it's being advertised as starting in about two weeks. That's right (to answer your question Anamaniac) it should finally be appearing on CN at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7.

Also, If anyone has Real One Player, there's a station I occasionally listen to called Anime Internet Radio. On an edition last week (I believe it was) they had an interview with Kyle Hebert (the voice of the narrator of the show, Pikkon, Teen Gohan, among others). In it, aside from typical responses to typical questions (regarding "how does one become a voice actor," and whatnot) he did mention that FUNi is indeed already working on re-dubbing the first 53 episodes of DBZ, as he mentioned he'll be playing the voice of Ox King, so I just thought I'd mention that: after all, it's good to know they're working on it ^^

Also, I have some other news, though newer members probably won't know what I'm talking about (though I know Usagy, and Kana will, among others). Remember when I sent everyone who asked for them the copies of Neko Majin and Neko Majin Z? Well, a few days ago, I found out that there was a Neko Majin Z 2, and I just got it (and read it; like the others, it's a one-shot, so it was short). This one featured spoofs on Mr. Satan, and, best of all, Frieza, who looked almost identical to the way he did in DBZ. Like I did last time, if anyone wants it, I can send it to you via e-mail. It's 16 pages, plus a cover (two pages, cover included, in color). I suspect readers of the original two will want to read it, but if anyone's interested, let me know.

Lastly, because I'm short on time (and because I don't remember what else I was going to say -_-), here's the re-post of Part VI of my GT summary. Remember, this is the last one I did, so the next one I'll actually have to actually write up a summary, and it will conclude GT ^_^.

And now what everyone's been waiting for, DragonBall GT Summary Part VI (with new super-condensed action--well, that is to say I'll try to cut back).

When we last left off, we saw that Goku, Bulma and Number 18 gather up the DragonBalls and try to wish back Krillin, but it doesn't work! They note the DragonBalls were cracked a little, but just remark that it's because they're old. Then they try wishing the world back to the way it was before Super 17 came, and that doesn't work either. Then, finally, the Dragon appears, but it isn't the Shenlong we all know and love...

He first said he didn't care about the wishes, and that he had created 7 Evil Dragons, each with the DragonBalls. He then goes on to explain that, over the years, Negative Energy built up in the DragonBalls as a result of no evil wishes ever being made upon them, causing them to crack a little. Kibitoshin mentions that if the Dragon Radar had never been invented, this wouldn't have happened. Bulma tries "passing the buck", so to say, saying that she wasn't alone and had help from Goku.

Now, Goku, being the person he is, feels responsible for this too, so de decides to take off to defeat the Evil Shenlons. So, (and now we speed up a lot to save some time), Goku travels all over to defeat the first 6 Dragons (*see note later on regarding this)...

All the while, Vegeta is boiling up at the fact that that his rival has attained a level higher than him, so Bulma (being the lovely wife that she is) decides to make a machine that will turn him into a SSJ4, just like Goku!

Now, elsewhere, Goku stumbles upon Ii Shenron, who has just absorbed all 7 DragonBalls, making him nearly invincible!

Now, for that Side note I mentioned Earlier. Why, do you ask, did I not go into detail about the first 6 Dragons? Well, for a few reasons. (1) To save time (I told you I would work on condensing!) (2) We already have somewhat of a background on them from my Evil Shenron Post (which could be considered GT Summary 6.5) and (3) Maybe....just a little, because 1 Star is my favorite, and I wanted to get to him^^

No, really, in the whole, they focus on Li Shenron Much more. This just took us from Episode 47 (Subtitled "This is a Surprise! Shenlon is the Enemy?!" through 56 (again, Subtitled "After the Sun, Comes the Freeze! The Fire and Ice Dragon Brothers" Now that's 9 episodes, and the Li Shenron Fight lasts like 7 episodes itself, which shows you a comparison of how important they are in comparison.

If anyone wants me to go into any details on any (or all) of the Dragons and/or their battles, just let me know. I'll gladly do it.

I've gained quite alot knowledge of DBGT, because I liked DBZ, then I found out there was a series following that, named Dragon Ball GT. I decided to investigate and found out a lot about it. I know practically, if I do say so myself, everything about it, except the names of episodes. I think it's cute how they begin the series, with a bang of excitement. Oh, and in addition to your "lesson" SSJ4 Goku, my name is Katelyn.

Ka is something in hiragana, so that can stay, or it can be changed to Kei. Even though te is also a hiragana, it is changed to to. And lyn? Well, that changes to ri n, seeing as the Japanese don't say l or v. My name in Japanese: Keitorin. Which is why quite a lot of names in DB/Z/GT are changed.

Dragonball GT... I really did not like it as much as DB and DBZ. Goku seems so weak in the beginning. Pilaf shoots that missle, Goku catches it but is hit back 10 feet. WTF? According to my knowledge about DB and DBZ, Goku should be able to just smack it away.... Oh, and did I talk about Pan? I think I did somewhere. If you didn't see my post about Pan, say so and I'll do it again.

ok i havent posted in a while ive been looking at the posts in this club....a funny scene from dbgt(my cuzin brought 2 dbgt tapes from his uncles blockbuster in his uncles area...and they were due back the next day so i only saw a 20 min tidbit)....(bebi saga) when goku is a kid investigating a dragonball location on a spaceship with pan and trunks...pan is confronted by a giant robot and it opens fire on her shooting about 20 missles at point blank...when the smoke clears, goku and trunks catch all the missles between their arms legs and goku even has one in his teeth...that was great

i do like how kid gokus voice in gt will be the same as in dragonball...that surprised me...and trunks looks gay as hell....really he does, he wears stupid clothes and this dumb handkerchief on his neck.

I haven't been tuning in to Toonami lately. Actually, I've been tuning into it as regularly as I've been coming to these forums the past several months or so. I still don't care for their line up. I think they could do much better. SD Gundam? I hate that animation. The arms are measured so precisely, its like too perfect. There's no abnormalitys to the dimensions, or whatever. Plus, the characters are... typical of new anime, as of late. Pisses me off. But whatever. And then, there's Dragon Ball Z, in its cheesy dubbing and all. "I got a french accent, even though in space, there is no france..." Not that it makes sense that all the characters would speak the same language, anyway. Its JUST A CARTOON, DAMMIT!! ...anyways, then we have, what, the new Transformers, right? *shakes head* What is up with those kids? Why is it the anime code, or something, that requires that just about every show have some stupid teenage/pre-teenage characters, most of which look and sound like girls, when they are boys? It might not be as bad with out the kids, but then again... Hot Rod. They got him all wrong. The same as with just about every other character. Hot Rod's supposed to be a punk, kind of. He comes off, to me, more as a whiny kid. Then, we finish off with Dragon Ball, which I decided I like a lot better than DBZ. However, I watch very little TV these days, anyway. Except Adult Swim. They need to bring back Gundam Wing. And 8th MS Squad, or whatever it was called. Those shows rocked. Bring those back, and also finally air DBGT. Then you'd have a program again. Anyways...

just a quick question...y would a character announce his or her move before doing it, wouldnt it tell the opponent that they were gonna do the move?? or is it that u need to say something for the move to work, that would be really corny, because if someone was a mute, they wouldn'y be able to do anymoves..lol

I don't really know why but if FF games, when you use a move, it says on the screen. I always thought that the characters announced their moves on the games since they are magic and spells. But, that was before FFX, in their, when you cast Ultima with Lulu, she sometimes says something so.....

I really have no idea why they say the move. But, when Trunk does his Burning Attack, he doesn't say anything. I don't think you have to say anything because Cell didn't say anything when he did his Kamehameha on Gohan in the Cell Games.
