I bought Evanescence's "Anywhere but home" Just yesterday. It's a CD/DVD, and it's completed my Evanescence collection ^^. I now have everything they've ever released.
It's good, too. Amy Lee's an amazing live performer.
A copy of the Dirge Of Cerebus OST with slightly damaged packaging for $5 Australian. It's worth it for those songs by Gackt alone.
As for shirts, I got a Nirvana Bleach one at the markets for about $10 Australian. I think it's a knockoff, but it looks real.

SSSSHHH!!! IT WAS A GIFT!!!
I remember when you were happy with a RADISH.
Wow... haven't posted in here for a while
Well, about 3 months ago I bought two albums, Kaiser Chiefs "Yours Truely, Angry Mob" and Patrick Wolf's "The Magic Postition". I'll start with Kaisers since most people know them, so I have little to explain exept that it's a nice branch off their debut album Employment. Theres less wacky sounds, but theres still the typical catchy hooks which get stuck in your head. Theres some nice guitar in there too. I have to say that theres less stand-out tracks than there was on Employment, though. Sadly, I am already sick of "Ruby", thank you TV and radio for overplaying it!!!
As for Patrick Wolf, he is less known even though The Magic Postition is his third album. I think he's an incredably talented musician, as he has a lovely singing voice and poetic lyrics, which group nicely to the many many instruments he can play. He lives for his music, and has a lot of influence from the spirituality of nature as well as his musical influences, such as Bowie and Kate Bush. His latest album has guest appearences from Ed Larrikin from Larrikin Love (single Accident and Emergancy), Marianne Faithfull, and members of the Vienna Sympony Orchestra. It's a beautiful album, every song is completely different from the other. Opener "Overture" is my favorite, with a rich variety of strong instrumentation. "Enchanted" is weird and mystical, "The Magic Postition" happy and sunny, "Accident and Emergancy" is something to dance to, and "Bluebells" a relaxing yet strong song.
3 weeks ago I finally bought Larrikin Love's debut, "The Freedom Spark". Another band few know, though they're another good band. Their music is fun, with a nice variety of style and instruments. Patrick Wolf plays piano and viola on two of the albums songs, and Jamie T does additional vocals on singe "Well, Love Does Furnish a Life". Loads of other people star on it, including Alex Cox (Vincent Vincent and the Villains), Rob Skipper (the Holloways), Henry Clark and Tom Gourbutt of The Rumblestrips. Some of the tracks, such as single "Happy as Annie" and album closer "A Burning Coast" remind me a little of The Pogues. I guess the only way I can describe their style is folk-punk-alternative rock... though they're a band who stand away from categorisation for their originality.
Closing this, is yesterday's purchace, Maximo Park's newie "Our Earthly Pleasures". An album which has been given as much bitch as it has praise. The NME said that they lost the artistic style of their debut "A Certain Trigger" by trying to be too rock. I have to disagree though, as from my first listen, I thought this album was great. You can hear the keyboards more on this album, and the riffs are a lot stronger. Paul Smith's voice still has the Geordie Accent charm, with lyrics which show both his creativeness and intelligance yet again. Some people see them as a "fun" band, though to be honest, they are both fun and meaningful. Being the Maximo fan I am, I say "Mon The 'Park!"

After countless searching in storms and trying not to get mad at all the rude employees. I finally got my Secondhand Serenade Cd, the album is called Awake and sports the awesome songs Your Call and Vulnerable.
Sadly I only wanted the Cd for those two songs but after listening to the whole thing completley I reliezed that the entire album was amazing and a few songs brought me to tears. Im grateful I just didn't download them from limewire, or I would of missed out on so many things.^_^

Warning: Watching From A Distance
The Melvins: Hooch
Long John Baldry: It Aint Easy
Loving them.
EDIT: of course, that should be Houdini, by the Melvins, not Hooch.
That's the opening track, I can't get it out of my head!

Enter Shikari-Take To The Skies ^__^
The ast Cd I bought was Fall Out Boy-Infinity On High
My last CD was IV ( The latest album of Godsmack )
I bought an album today because I haven't bought a CD in ages again. I decided to get HIM's greatest hits from 1997-2004. I am listening to it right now and it's really awesome. They even have a huge collection which I'm totally going to get sometime. I love all of the songs on this album and will probably keep listening to it for a while! <3
^ Tis a wonderful collection.
I bought 5 albums recently, although 4 came together as a package for $40 CD, which is pretty good.
Firstly I bought Sing the Sorrow by AFI. This album is fantastic. No more needs be said.
In the 4 CD package, I got 3 Opeth CDs and a live one of theirs. Black Water Park, Deliverance, Damnation and Lamentations respectively. I'm only a moderate Opeth fan, but Blackwater Park was fantastic and Damnation was excellent as well. Deliverance wasn't great, but it had its moments. I've yet to listen to the live CD, but I'm not certain how those death growls would sound live...>.>
Anyways, a good haul.
Until now!
A few days ago, I picked up Jethro Tull's Aqualung (a previously only had a burnt copy, and I finally got around to buying a real copy) and Iron Maiden's "No Prayer for the Dying" album, which is (I believe) the last studio album I was missing of theirs. Also, today, I just picked up a 2-CD set of Herbert von Karajan conducting all four of Brahms' symphonies, and as I love both that conductor and that composer, that was also a rather pleasant purchase for me. Hooray!
The last one I bought was actually a while ago now, but I didn't post it here so I will now.
It's actually a CD/DVD, which is pretty cool, considering I picked it up for $20 Australian.
Evanescence's "Anywhere but home". It's a live collection from the tour from their first album, and it's absolutely excellent. Amy Lee has one of the best voices in the music industry, IMO. I wanna drag them back over Australia.
I've been on this site since 2006 woah
My last one was a live performance of Godsmack during them new 2007 tour.
The tour started since July 26 and ended at May 4 ( up to 40 live performances )

I don't actually buy CD's, i always make my own, it's a ripoff to pay 20 or so bucks for a CD that usually only has 2-3 songs you really want.
