    Boyce Avenue

So I overheard a song my wife was listening to one day and it sounded totally different than usual it was so tantalizing and fresh and just god damn brilliant I had to ask who was singing.

Anyway long story short it was these guys Boyce Avenue, three brothers from Florida who started off uploading acoustic cover songs on you tube.

Needless to say I have become enraptured by their music whether it a cover or their own.

    Anyone else feelin me?

This is one of their own I haven't finished listening to all their own songs but I will. Boyce Avenue - Hear Me Now (Official Song & Lyrics) on iTunes - YouTube

Another one of theirs. Boyce Avenue - Dare To Believe (Official Song & Lyrics) on iTunes - YouTube

This is a Rascal Flatts cover that I really love. Rascal Flatts / Cascada - What Hurts The Most (Boyce Avenue acoustic cover) on iTunes - YouTube
And I love the use of the cajon drum (almost called it a djembe haha)

But the one that made me entranced to begin with was this one.
U2 / Mary J. Blige / Beatles - One / Let It Be (Boyce Avenue acoustic cover) on iTunes - YouTube
I prefer this cover to the Beatles original haha.

I could name heaps more that I like but that would take a while.

I love them! They are really really awesome. They guy, Alejandro, has a great voice.
My favourite cover from them would be:
Somebody That I Used To Know - Gotye feat. Kimbra (Boyce Avenue acoustic cover) on iTunes - YouTube
    This one's really good too:
Fix You - Coldplay - Acoustic Cover by Tyler Ward & Boyce Avenue - YouTube

Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

Never heard of them until now. Clicked because Boyce is my last name! I thought everyone was talking about me #ego/paranoia

Anyway, I just gave them a listen and they are...ok. I have heard better, but heard a lot worse. They aren't really my sort of thing anyway, but not too bad. I think they did a cover of 'Love Lockdown' by Kanye West, which I didn't really like though.

Just listened to these songs what great covers I never usually say this but OMG.

Superman - Five For Fighting (Boyce Avenue cover) on iTunes - YouTube
This is done a bit slowly and softer but it is quite good.

Tracy Chapman - Fast Car (Boyce Avenue feat. Kina Grannis acoustic cover) on iTunes - YouTube
Now you can't beat Tracy Chapmans unique voice but I like this one.

And I love their covers of the Goo Goo Dolls.
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris (Boyce Avenue acoustic cover) on iTunes - YouTube
