Who's Your Favorite Anime Character?

This is a problem for a poll. There are tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of likable Anime characters out there.

On topic, my favorite is Guts from Berserk. He weilds what I guess is a 300 lbs long sword like I swing a twig and slice three people in two with one punishing blow.

My favorite anime character?

Eikichi Onizuka - Bad Company/Shounan Junai Gumi/GTO (No one can touch this man. Badass to the max.)
Ryuji Danma - Bad Company/Shounan Junai Gumi/GTO (Same as Onizuka, except just slightly lower.)
Urumi Kanzaki - GTO (She's a genius and she's hot.)
Zoro - One Piece (He's cool)
Sanji - One Piece (I like chefs, and he's a pimp.)
Mihawk/Shanks/fat guy with Shanks (I'm putting them all together cause they aren't too much of "main" characters, yet)

Despite my recent hatred towards anime, the character that finds his way onto the doodles of my homework the most often would be Kai from Beyblade. So in a pinch, I’d say he’s my favorite character.

Legato Bluesummers(Trigun) would be my all time favorite anime character, and I could speak at great length as to why, but I'll refrain.

Next in line would probably be Vash, once again from Trigun, followed by Bankotsu from Inuyasha(I got a thing for huge halberds haha), and Sesshomaru as well.

Also Wolfwood from Trigun and Miroku from Inuyasha, and about a zillion freakin' others man. Jin and Mugen from Samurai Champloo, Scar from Full Metal Alchemist, the list goes on and on man. Brandon Heat/Grave is pretty cool too.

I find Naota to be my favorite anime character of all time, now before you all ask, why Naota Nandaba?

Let me explain, Naota goes around acting cool and as though nothing bothers him at all, cold and selfish to the world around him. But of course, being anime, he is torn by everything, everything about his life drives him insane internally, down to his town Mabase, his social life, and his relationship with his father and grandfather, and to the final thing that probably made him break down. His failure to capture haruko's love. Sure, they gave FLCL (Anime) a fine happy ending, but if you add two and two together, you find that his is a depressed, and possibly suicidal person.

So why do I like him?

Because he hates life.
Just like me.

My favorite charcter would have to be Brandon Heat, from Gungrave. He's a quiet tall man who only wants to make sure that his friends and the ones that he cares for are protected and safe. His best friend joins the mafia so he joins too, to ensure his safety. He even becomes a hitman just to make sure that he can protect the ones he loves. He's a very odd and quiet character, but he's loyal and true, which is why I always thoght he was the coolest anime character.

i love mamimi for several reasons

a) those cigarettes - never knows best
b) her pyromania and video game addiction
c) just her subtle, angsty-depressed personality. she's just a really deep character with a shit load of issues, i'm into that for some reason

i love misato because

a) she's also a surprisingly deep character with a shit load of issues
b) as the series goes on she her sort of dark side is slowly revealed
c) her absolute dedication to her role in saving humanity - which i always found inspiring

honestly i don't i realized just how into her character i was until

Spoiler: her death in the end of evangelion. i just stared at the screen in disbelief, and i felt as if my heart had been ripped out of my chest.

that's when i knew that character would stick with me.

and yes, they are both ****ing gorgeous - but that didn't equate into calling them my favorite. ok maybe a little but not too much

Chi is from Chobits, which is a series.

I think I'll go ahead and vote for Chi, because she's the only one out of all of them that I know. I didn't vote when I posted earlier, so I'll just go ahead and do that now....
