I find Naota to be my favorite anime character of all time, now before you all ask, why Naota Nandaba?

Let me explain, Naota goes around acting cool and as though nothing bothers him at all, cold and selfish to the world around him. But of course, being anime, he is torn by everything, everything about his life drives him insane internally, down to his town Mabase, his social life, and his relationship with his father and grandfather, and to the final thing that probably made him break down. His failure to capture haruko's love. Sure, they gave FLCL (Anime) a fine happy ending, but if you add two and two together, you find that his is a depressed, and possibly suicidal person.

So why do I like him?

Because he hates life.
Just like me.
