I am in the process of catching up on 'Shinryaku! Ika Musume '(aka Squid Girl). It is hilarious! I seriously recommend watching this anime if you want a good comedy.
I've watched all of Highschool of the Dead. Too bad it ended in 12 episodes. It's about a group of high school students caught in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. The animation is excellent, but the story is okay even though I care about the main characters' survival. There is a lot of fanservice too! Woohoooo~

As in the last week:
Hitman Reborn! eps 1-9
Working my way through anothr 200 . . . might take a while
"One Ring to rule them all, one Ring to find them -"
"Hey dude! Wrong place! This isn't The Lord of the Rings."
"Really? Are you sure . . . I mean . . ."
"I'm sure now go! Yeah now get out of the spotlight. I have some Deepground soldiers to shoot."
I'm not sure if this one counts as anime or just tv but I'm currently watching an anime for the book series Deltora Quest. The animation is alittle bit lacking but it's still interesting for me to see a visual representation of the book series that I loved so very much as a young child.
I found some episodes of Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics that someone uploaded to Youtube, so I've been watching those for the past couple of days. Man... What a nostalgia rush. I remember watching those on early morning Nickelodeon.
Anyway, I watched: The Frog Prince, Hansel and Gretel, Bluebeard, King Grizzle Beard, The Worn-Out Dancing Shoes, The Marriage of Mrs. Fox, The Story of the Summer and Winter Garden, The Magic Heart, The Coat of Many Colors, Brother and Sister, Four Skillful Brothers, and The Man of Iron.
They're all pretty enjoyable, but my favorites are King Grizzle Beard, The Worn-Out Dancing Shoes, and The Magic Heart.
There's still quite a few more episodes that I haven't gotten around to watching, and there's also a few that aren't uploaded. I'll probably watch the rest of 'em later.

After not continuing my Gundam run for some time, I quickly finished Gundam 00. When I initially left the show I was on episode 5 of season 1; I had watched all the way up to episode 9 - 11 of season 2 when it was first subbed but stopped watching for some reason.
This Gundam series is another favorite of mine. I noticed some similarities with other Gundam shows primarily the A-laws being Titans; I also noticed that the same amount of time had passed between season 1 and season 2 of Gundam 00 and 0083 and Zeta Gundam which takes place in 0087 where the AEUG fight against the Titans. Innovators seemed a little like newtypes though only through trans-am could people hear each other unlike the abilities of newtypes.
I didn't like some characters in season 2 compared to their season 1 counter-parts though that is for a couple of characters. Some of the music reminded me of music from Xenogears and another sci-fi setting. It was only a few notes but they sounded similiar from where I remembered them.
Main series FFs Beaten - FF: 4x, FFII: 3x, FFIII: 3x, FFIV: 3x, FFV: 3x, FFVI: 4x, FFVII: 5x, FFVIII: 5x, FFIX: 3x, FFX: 4x, FFXII: 3x, FFXIII: 2x, FFXV: 2x

its fricking hilarious xD
Some people say Poland is like the Mexico of Europe...I don't know what that means, but I like it!! - Chris :')
Watching a pretty good one at the moment called 'The World God Only Knows', which is pretty funny. It's about a boy called Keima who is god of bishojo games (dating sims), but accidently signs a contract with hell to capture lost souls, which will involve him conquering girls in real life, not just in games. Obviously, he's going to use what he has learned from his games.
Like I said, it's pretty funny. Also, if you like the whole Otaku-love story type thing you will enjoy this.
Hmm I have been watching a few these past few days, other matters have been on my mind, so I haven't watched as much as normal.
Avatar The Last Bender: Book One Water
Avatar The Last Bender: Book Two Earth
Kaze No Stigma Season One
Dead Space Downfall
Hellboy Blood & Iron
Last anime I watched were actually movies:
Perfect Blue: About a young pop star named Mima who wants to be an actress, and she starts out in a bit role in a crime drama, but then gets a bigger part in the same crime drama. However, she's constantly terrorized by a stalker. This, along with pressures of her new career path, cause Mima to have numerous breakdowns. During the course of the movie, there are many times in which the viewer is wondering whether Mima herself is actually causing all the violent crimes that happen in the film.
It's a really good movie. I'd definitely recommend it if you're wanting to watch a psychological thriller.
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind: Yes. I finally got around to watching it, and I thought it was good. It's a about a young princess named Nausicaa, who seeks to find a remedy to the deadly poisons that are affecting the world. During the course of the film, she also has to face off against an invading kingdom, who find that they too want to do something about the poison, but their method of doing so is more destructive.
Like I said, Nausicaa was good, but I was also pretty surprised by it. I went into the movie knowing NOTHING of the plot, and to be honest, was a little put off by all the giant bugs. Yeeeech.... Other than that, I'd say it was another perfect Ghibli movie.

^ I've been meaning to watch Perfect Blue. I love Satoshi Kon's films, especially Paprika.
A brand new anime I literally just watched was Rio~Rainbow Gate. If you don't like fanservice anime, stay the hell away. I like them to a certain extent, and I will keep watching it, but it is basically built on fanservice. The first episode introduced a small girl named Mint, who has just arrived at a casino with her grandfather. She hears of a person called The Goddess of Victory, which happens to be the title character, Rio. Everyone wants to see her because she is basically Lady Luck.
07-Ghost and D. Gray man, both of which made me sick to my stomach watching, come to think of it, I quit watching them because they annoyed me so much...

I started watching two new ones today. First is Beelzebub, which is a brand new anime, that only just started showing in Japan. It is about a guy named Oga, who is a real tough guy. He finds a large man floating in a river, and he pulls him ashore. The man then splits in half (yes, splits in half) to reveal baby Beel, who is the son of the Demon King (and never wears a nappy, which is kind of annoying). Baby Beel grows attached to Oga, but has really been sent to the surface to destroy humanity.
Yes, I was confused as well. But it's not a bad anime. The characters are ok, while the story is quite unique I suppose. Overall, I will continue to watch it.
The second series is Charger Girl Ju-den Chan. It is about a girl named Plug, who is a Charger Girl. A charger girl is someone who literally charges people up who seem down (which is shown by Rank A-F, A being the lowest, which can mean the person in question may kill themselves). They cannot be seen, but she meets a guy called Sento, who can somehow see her.
This is a weird one. Once again, I find myself discovering a Fan service anime. This one is ok, just a bit all over the place.
I finished Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ two days ago then watched Char's Counterattack and Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer (a movie).
The first 17 episodes of ZZ were iffy to ok but afterwards it does get better. While Judau and Haman were supposed to be Newtypes the show sparingly showcased any Newtype ability in Judau. I would probably place this somewhere in between my top tier of Gundam shows and Gundam Seed/Gundam Seed Destiny.
I've seen Char's Counterattack before, I remember watching when it came on Cartoon Network years ago. I always felt said the Hathaway killed Amuro new gf or girl interest. A good movie that keeps it going though the ending makes me a bit down.
Awakening of the Trailblazer was definitely a good movie. How the plot goes does fit into the show which I liked since it wasn't some random tangent. I understood the message and reasoning/goals of the characters but I have an issue with the ending which is a little atypical.

Just finished watching Hellsing and kaichou wa Maid-sama, Hellsing was pretty cool, and Kaicho was also pretty cool, kinda didn't agree with the ending though.

Despite being childish and cheesy at times I had fun watching the first season of Digimon once again, for sake of nostalgia if nothing else. Umisho is another one I've seen, it made laugh which by the way is his strongest, and only point. Don't know should I put this here as well, Chronicles of Riddick - Dark Fury, huge fan of both Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick, enjoyed watching it, it certainly explained few things.
Sig and Avy made by Unknown Entity
Bleach, 274
DBZ, 231
Dragon Ball, 33
On Bleach, Torshiro is fighting Halibel, it got ultra boring compared to DBZ
On DBZ, Buu has been re-born, and now Goten and Trunks are learning the fusion technique, but Trunks had to leave to get the Dragon Radar for finding all the Dragon Balls because Babity and Buu are going to destroy his house.
and On Dragon Ball they just finished the World Tournament, Goku lost to Jackie Chun who in reality is Master Roshi, and goku ate 475,000 Zenie (however its spelled) worth of food, almost the whole prize money that Master Roshi earned in the tournament in an amount of 500,000 Zenie.

Final Fantasy games played:1,2,3,6,7,9,10,12,13
Final Fantasy games beaten:7,10,13
I really didnt get too much into 1-3, I got about halfway through 6, didnt play 9 that much, and played 12 at a friends house.
I watched all of G Gundam which I had not seen most of the second half. This show brought back gundam from Victory Gundam (I'm about to watch) which had the worst ratings at the time. G Gundam is definitely a favorite of mine, better than ZZ so it brought back Gundam from there as well. Some may find the English VA horrible, but I liked it, especially Domone's VA who got the emotion that was needed quite good. I've never been picky over English VA so G Gundam's worked for me. The final fight between Master Asia and Domone for the Gundam title was one of the best in the entire Gundam series, on par with the Kou Uraki vs. Anavel Gato fight in Gundam 0083 after the events at Solomon.
I also watched the movie Gundam F91 which was originally planned to be another 50 (or so) episode series but production hit a snag with staff disputes so it was made into a two hour movie that greatly condensed the plot. I could tell generally how the plot would have been if it would have been a series with similar plot points in past U.C. entries. There was something from this movie that was used in Gundam 00; "Bugs" were machines used by Iron Mask/Carozzo to eliminate the people in the colony; A-LAWS using the robots to quell any uprising. Unfortunately the scope of the movie never gets to big so the ending feels a little lack-luster because there wasn't a deep emotional connection with the cast. It would have been great if Gundam F91 was a series because it would have shown how humanity went 30 years after Char's Counterattack. It did appear that Newtypes were kind of "relics" of the past though it was only 3 decades ago. Unfortunately it never happened and in its condensed form it does suffer though it is not a bad movie - just ok.
Main series FFs Beaten - FF: 4x, FFII: 3x, FFIII: 3x, FFIV: 3x, FFV: 3x, FFVI: 4x, FFVII: 5x, FFVIII: 5x, FFIX: 3x, FFX: 4x, FFXII: 3x, FFXIII: 2x, FFXV: 2x
I'm watching one at the moment that is airing in Japan right now called Dragon Crisis!. It's about an average high school boy named Ryuji who, along with his cousin Eriko, seize a relic box. Inside the box is an unnamed girl who happens to be a dragon, but in human form. She grows very attached to Ryuji. Ryuji names her Rose because of a rose-like pattern on her hand (which is the sign that she is indeed a dragon).
I will say I am enjoying this anime a lot so far. It's interesting to say the least. It's a different kind of story, it's funny at times, and has an awesome ending song. What more could you ask for!

^ Well he was to start with. I only really put that because it sort of sets the scene for those who haven't watched it. But yeah, I wouldn't either.
Does the manga have an english adaption yet?
the last anime i watch was buso renkin
My girlfriend recently baught DeathNote I like it alot, 7/10
She also picked up something called Mess0, it's interesting and kindof cute. Not something I can really 'get in to'.
We still need to finish deathnote...We need to finsih Ergo Proxy too,
^ Death Note is definitely my favourite Anime of all time. Such a great story.
I've been trying to catch up on Tegami Bachi at the moment. I really love it so far. I'm 6 episodes in.
I thnk the last episode we watched was the one where L met the police in person.
Currently Chobits is my favorite, and Akira (included comics...are they considered manga?).
Been watching Lucky Star. Again. Konata really is god I swear
Na really, Lucky Star is really, along with Death Note, my favourite anime ever I think.
Last anime I have watched out of the very few I have seen is Sailor Moon all 200 episodes of them and one of the movies. The only animes I have seen are Yu Yu Hakusho(do not like this one at all anymore) and DB(some episodes) DBZ(all episodes) and DBGT(all episodes) and about 9 of the DBZ movies. I don't like DB series anymore either; however I love Sailor Moon obviously.
Ghost in the Shell: DVR'ed a total of 50 eps, with the last episode called "Endless Gig"
Tokko: 5-8
Cowboy Bebop: 1-24
FMA: 1-the episode where he finds out about Al's body
Big O: up until Dorathy takes Roger's place
Last edited by Kyreaan; 02-26-2011 at 02:05 PM. Reason: forgot to mention Big O
Chrono Cores:
Just watched Last Order: Final Fantasy VII, as well as Advent Children. Thought I'd have an FFVII marathon
If it's the Akira I'm thinking of, yes, it's concidered manga.
Anyway, I've recently been watching the following:
Paranoia Agent(All of 'em) I love this show, it inspired the title and avatar change. Little slugger is one of the coolest characters ever.
Hellsing(Ovas 1-2) I think I've seen them all(up untill Andersons Paladin Armies anyway) but I'm re-watching them.
Big O(All of 'em) I like this one alot. Never could tell why...Just do. Allen was my favorite character, he reminds me of some kind of Lupin the Third badguy.
