I haven't seen a lot of good ones myself, for those who have if you wish you may include animated movies as well.

As much as Marvel fan in me screams "don't do it you bloody traitor" I always go back to The Dark Knight. This fine piece of art is in my opinion the very pinnacle of comic book movies. It has everything a man wants in a movie, intriguing story, great characters and buttload of epic scenes, all enveloped in epic score by none other than Hans Zimmer, arguably the best composer outthere. What impressed me the most though, still does actually, is Heath Ledger's performance who in my opinion managed to surpass the man many consider to be one and only Joker, Jack Nicholson himself.

X-Men: First Class is my close second, best X-Men movie for sure or if you like, best Marvel movie so far. It came as a most pleasant surprise considering the entire project didn't look promising at all. Michael Fassbender continued where Ian Mckellen left off making my favorite comic book "villain" even better.

There's no way in hell I can leave out Spiderman 2, it had the biggest impact on me out of all comic book movies. Perhaps I'm exaggerating on this one, but up to that point we had some good comic book movies, but none as ambitious and great as Spiderman 2.

One people often tend to forget when such subject occurs is Sin City, unique movie to say the least with interesting characters and separate but equally good plots. I simply had to include Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, otherwise I feel Telegraph would kick my ass. It's an entertaining movie with tons of little details you simply can't notice in one sitting. Watchmen is another favorite of mine, love how the story unfolds, Ozymandias instantly became one of my all time favorite villains, certainly most intelligent one. 300, along with Watchmen, has to be the most faithful movie to it's original source. It's an epic tale full of, I would often say unnecessary gore, this time though it was all good, and some of the best lines in film I ever heard.
