Mist (X:10, Y:11) - Housing Merchant
Lavender Beds (X:11, Y:8) - Housing Merchant
The Goblet (X:11, Y:9) - Housing Merchant

There are three types of garden patches, each allowing for a different number of garden beds.
Round Garden Patch - four garden beds

- Planting Seeds
With a garden bed selected, choose a bag of seeds and your desired soil to begin planting.
- Raising Crops
Plant growth can be promoted through constant tending and the use of fertilizer.
The rate of growth and amount of produce yielded varies between plants.

* Certain items can only be obtained through gardening.
- Intercrossing
In the event that different plant species were growing side by side, they may also render up new kinds of seeds. This process can be repeated with intercrossed plants, and may give rise to heretofore unseen specimens.
A basement level has been added to small houses.
The maximum number of furnishings for a small house has been increased from 50 to 100.

* It is not required to dispel existing glamours from a piece of gear before casting a different glamour.
Glamoured gear will display the following icon. Furthermore, gear used to cast glamours will be bound upon use of a glamour prism.

All of the projected item's gear slots fall within the base item's gear slots.

* In this case, you will not appear to be wearing headwear.
Glamours cannot be cast
Casting the glamour of a hooded cowl on a robe, as the head slot of the hooded cowl is not covered by the robe.
* The equipment requirements of a glamoured item are identical to the base item.
* The appearance of the base item will be used in the event your current class cannot equip the projected item.
* Glamours may be temporarily disabled in PvP arenas and other unique areas.
- Crafting Glamour Prisms

* Only level 50 crafters can use master recipe books. Furthermore, there is no master recipe book of glamours available for culinarian.

Once unlocked, the following categories will be added to the retainer interface:
Number of remaining ventures
View venture report
Assign venture
View retainer attributes and gear
Assign retainer class
After unlocking retainer ventures, the market board status in the retainer interface will also display venture status.
- Assigning Your Retainer a Class
Before your retainers can undertake ventures, you must first assign them a class and equip them with a main arm.
Retainers can be set to any of the following classes, with the assigned class determining the items they can procure:
Disciples of War or Magic: Gladiator / Pugilist / Marauder / Lancer / Archer / Conjurer / Thaumaturge / Arcanist
Disciples of the Land: Miner / Botanist / Fisher
* Classes your character have not unlocked cannot be assigned to retainers.
A retainer's class can be changed at any time. However, you must reset their current class and level before assigning a new one.
- Retainer Gear
Retainers can be equipped with gear befitting their assigned class and level, which will in turn affect items procured on their venture. Items will be procured in increased quantities by increasing either average item level for Disciples of War and Magic, or gathering rating for Disciples of the Land. Moreover, for retainers set as Disciples of the Land, increasing perception will result in a higher likelihood of obtaining high-quality items.
Retainer gear can be changed via the retainer's character menu.
* Retainer gear cannot be changed when a venture is in progress.
Gear equipped by a retainer will be bound upon completion of a retainer venture. However, bound items can still be exchanged and used by both players and their retainers.
* Gear durability will not be affected by retainer ventures.
* Spiritbond rating will not be affected by retainer ventures.
- Types of Retainer Ventures
Retainers may undertake one of several types of ventures. Depending on the type of venture, retainers will be tasked with obtaining a specified item, or left to freely explore the world to obtain items as they see fit.
The following ventures will task your retainer with procuring a specified item:
Disciples of War and Magic - Hunting
Miner - Mining
Botanist - Botany
Fisher - Fishing
* Disciples of War and Magic will procure the same items from ventures, regardless of class.
The following exploration ventures will allow your retainer to freely explore the world, procuring items as they see fit:
Although these ventures require more time to complete, they yield far greater experience, and also allow retainers to procure more obscure items such as Allagan bronze and silver pieces.
Disciples of War and Magic - Field Exploration
Miner - Highland Exploration
Botanist - Woodland Exploration
Fisher - Waterside Exploration
* Although retainers will procure items randomly, higher-level retainers may procure items, minions, and crafting materials unique to exploration ventures.
Quick Exploration
Upon reaching level 10, retainers can undertake quick exploration ventures. Retainers assigned to quick exploration will always come back with a single item, which will remain unknown until the venture is completed. The amount of experience earned will vary depending on the item found.
* There are no items unique to quick exploration ventures.
- Assigning a Venture
Players can assign a venture to their retainers by selecting Assign Venture from the retainer interface. Assigning a venture requires payment with a unique currency named ventures, which can be acquired through the exchange of company seals, fulfilling leve objectives, or completing beast tribe quests.
* Fees will not be refunded in the event a venture is canceled.
* Players can still summon their retainers and place items for sale on the market while a venture is in progress.
* The status of ventures can be confirmed under Timers in the Duty menu. Selecting Ventures from the Timers interface will display a separate window containing the status of individual retainers.
- Completing Ventures
All ventures are completed within a fixed period of time, which is affected by the retainer's level. When completed, your retainer's venture report will be updated in the retainer interface, allowing you to collect the spoils of their venture.
Retainers will receive experience points upon completion of ventures, increasing their level to a maximum of 50. The number of available ventures will increase as your retainer advances in level.
* The status of retainers dispatched to procure items is saved locally to your computer, PlayStation®3, or PlayStation®4, which may result in the display of incorrect information when changing systems. Summoning a retainer once via a summoning bell will update the status of their ventures on that system.

The appearance of glamoured items will now be saved.
The subcommand Search for Matching Items has been added to the Gear Set Viewer interface.
In the event an item is not in your armoury chest, this command will search your personal inventory, armoire, and retainer inventories.
* Only the inventories of retainers summoned since patch 2.16 can be searched. Please make sure you have summoned all retainers at least once prior to using this command.
* The arrangement of items in your retainer's inventory is saved locally to your computer, PlayStation®3, or PlayStation®4, which may result in the display of incorrect information when changing systems. Summoning a retainer once via a summoning bell will update your retainer's inventory on that system.
The Sort Party List button has been added to the Party Members tab of the Social interface.
When in a party of three or more players, pressing the Sort Party List button will arrange your party list in the following order: Player > Tanks > Healers > DPS

Registration for Duty Roulette: High Level now requires the completion of all associated duties.
The above changes to Duty Roulette requirements have been made in light reward adjustments, and to give players further incentive to complete all the duties within each category. Furthermore, because a great number of players who register for Duty Roulette have not cleared all duties within a given category, the above changes should also improve average waiting times for players who register for duties directly.
* All players will be required to fulfill the completion requirements of each Duty Roulette category even if they were able to register prior to patch 2.2.
The gil bonus awarded for being an adventurer in need has been increased.
* The gil bonus for adventurers in need, stated in the recent LIVE letter to have received a sevenfold increase, has since undergone adjustments. Gil bonuses will vary by the roulette undertaken, with the maximum increase being sixfold.

The location of players bound by duty will now be displayed when viewing the social menu, free company window, and linkshell window.
Preset macro icons in the User Macros interface have been revised.
Icons for skills and general actions have been replaced with a new set of macro icons. Skill and general action icons now require use of the /macroicon command.

* Please note that icons for macros created prior to patch 2.2 will not be affected.
To prevent accidental discarding of event items, a check box has been added to the dialogue box displayed when discarding event items.
* Please be reminded that discarding event items will automatically abandon any related quests.
Players who log in using a one-time password can now register a free teleport destination.
Review details of the one-time password bonus.
