Partial Patch 2.2 Notes Now Available

Like with Patch 2.1, the notes are long, but unlike last time Square Enix is not releasing all of them at once. Since the notes are going still be changing/adding until finalized next week, I will not be posting the full breakdown like last time until they become available to avoid confusion. A couple of the big take aways, Tomestones of Philosophy are going away and Myth is taking over it's place with the new tomestone taking over Myth's place. All of the gear and items purchased through Philosophy will be available through other means. The Darklite gear will be dungeon drops, but the items have not been stated on how they'll be obtained. The Vanity/Glamour system will require lv50 crafters to make the item needed to do the act, it'll be like the Grade 1-5 Matter used for materia and repair, but only crafters can make it. It is also craft specific and the gear used will require the matter from the right craft. It's also only available through the master recipes. This should be a big deal for crafters. Additional retainers can be bought for a monthly fee up to two additional retainers. Challenge logs appear to be like the records from FFXI.
