Announced during the Sony Playstation event in Japan, it was confirmed that FFXIV would be coming to the PS4 and the beta would be available at launch. Square Enix has now confirmed that it will be available as a worldwide beta on February and that the release of the PS4 version is expected to be in April of 2014.
During the Playstation awards event some PS4 footage was revealed of FFXIV running on the console. The video below is that. Remember that the Letter from the Producer Part XI will be showing off the PS4 version along with remote play.
