i just read on finalfantasy-XIII.net that noel is from the future and the last man alive there. he tells serah he saw lightning there. she is the knight of etros in valhalla and somewhat a deity herself. there is also the 'historiacross' a mechanism that allows you to travel through time using your mog.

Hmm, it seems interesting but even if it is true, you probably should have called it a different title and given the thread a spoiler warning.
