This is just a little idea I've had from the first time I played X. Remember in that great intro with the blitzball game and Sin approaching Zanarkand, one of the first things you see is Auron on top of a skyscraper and releasing a few drops from his flask? You weren't sure who he was at first, and it looked like he was welcoming Sin to the city, or even summoning him to destroy it.
As it turned out, I guess he was, but not for bad reasons--just because it was the only way to get Tidus to Spira. But it got me thinking that if Auron's motives were a little different, he could have been amazing as a bad guy--better than Seymour for sure. What do you think?
