Um...Sorry I have a question: In the Dreamscape in Doma Castle (WoR), How do you get out of the Phantom Train??? I'm stuck in this room with a switch at the end and it won't do anything!

Well Deathgaze is sorta like Ultima Weapon from FF7 so you will find it randomly while flying your airship around the World of ruin. Remember each time you damage it enough it will fly away til you finish for good with powerful attacks and spells. But like I said Deathgaze will appear randomly across the world map so just fly around aimlessly and I bet you 8/10 he will attack you.

The location of the eight dragons in no particular order are:

1) Narshe in the snow field before you fight and get Tritoch / and defended Banon from Kefka in WoB.
2) The Opera House
3) The Fanatics tower were you can only use magic.
4) Mt. Zozo, in a treasure chest by a save point.
5) Pheonix Cave
6) Ancient Castle / were you get the master scroll/offering
7 and 8) Kefka's Tower

im stuck in that opera house ...umm...I don't remember much but...when you get inside its a scene with that girl( forgot the name) , she should sing in that opera, after that Ultros comes and trows a letter.and than the 3 characters are sitting i think that Sabin says:why are they singing? or somenthing like that,
after that i can move my character but i can't get trhough the door, is that a game error or is there a secret passage way?

If you are where I think you are, you need to go to the Upper-right door, and talk to the guy and flip the switch he says flip, then, go all the way around to the upper left, and beat up Ultros, not too hard...

First you have to go back to the dressing room and talk to Celes again. From where you start out after the opening scene of the opera, walk all the way to the right so that you're in the bottom right corner, then go down. You should be able to navigate from there.

Er... Since when? You talk to Celes before her scene, and she does it, you don't go back to talk to her... because shes on the stage -_-;;.

After her scene, talk to the Imprasario, he will tell you to talk to the guy in the upper right room, you have to go up to the door in the upper right, talk to the guy inside the room, and he will move, and tell you to flip the far right switch, then, leave and go back to the Imprasario *terrible speller* and this time, go up left to that door, and make it to Ultros before the timer hits "0", which usualy requires you to skip a few of the battles along the way, and talk to Ultros, which, he then knocks both of you off the balcony, and, starts the fight (eventually).

Anywho, if it doesn't work, then, perhaps, you shouldn't play ROMS, and actually buy the game, eh?

Hmm, there should be a list in this forum, the only spells missing from the list here, are the ones for the new espers, Leviathan, Gilgamesh, and the Cactaur.

Perhaps you should look around for extremely lengthy questions... because it would take me forever to list all the spells in the game, and pointless at that, especially when I know there are lists for that kind of thing.

Ya i'm pretty sure there is. I've gotten EVERY single esper there is(yea that means dilbaos and ragnarok)so i'm pretty sure there is spaces.

The first time you are on the balcony is at the beginning of the opera. The opening scene of the opera happens BEFORE you talk to Celes and go through her scene. I was guessing he was at that part, since Ultros throws his letter before that.

I beat this game about a year ago, but this same question always puzzeled me. How the hell do you get Shadow back, and if you can't then what the hell happened to him.

Ah yes getting Shadow back. When your escaping the floating continent when it's colapsing and you have 6 mins to get out, go all the way to the airship and when the game asks you if you want to jump or wait, select wait. Don't move from that spot and just keep waiting for Shadow. When there is about four or five seconds left on the timer Shadow will come and him, along with your party will automaticly jump onto the airship, then the usual "airship breaking in half, party scattering" scene will occur. If you don't wait for Shadow, he is dead, and you can never get him back in the world of Ruin. Once your in the world of ruin and get the airship, you can find Shadow in the cave on the Veldt. If you didn't save him, you will find Relm there instead. Once you find him you will go to Thamasa, after a cutscene, leave town, and go back in and find a man who says that Shadow went to the colliseum. So go to the colliseum and bet the Stunner, (thats what its called in the SNES version) and you will fight Shadow one on one. Win the battle and he will join your party. I hope this helps.

I got Gilgamesh from the Colisum (ack, spelling!), I'm guessing I have to get the other extra espers from there too? If so, what do item do I bet to make them show up? (I've tried just about everything and I suspect that I sold something that I shouldn't have.)

I must admit, I've never actually played through very far with FFVI, even though I've had it for PS for a while now.

Anyway, is there any way to get Shadow to permanently join your group (without him randomly running off on his own)?

@ U2Girl1966: No you don't get the remaining extra espers from the coliseum, just Gilgamesh. You get cactuar by defeating ten cactuars in the desert outside of Maranda, and then defeating the Gigantuar. (it looks like the giant cactuar from FFVIII), you get Leviathan by taking the ferry from South Figaro to another town (can't remember the name) and during the ferry ride you encounter Leviathan. And the last of the four new espers: Diablos can be obtained after completing the bonus dungeon: Dragon's Den.

@ Jolts D: The only way you can get him to join permanently is to get him in the world of ruin.

|m stuck at the battle where you first use Sabin.
no matter how | enter it his "blitz" will not work. when exactly am | supposed to enter the <, >, <? The instructions mention a "cursor", what is it talking about?

For PS1 Version its : Right, Left, Right, then X. And for the GBA Version its: Right, Left, Right then A. I always had trouble on that too but if you practice it alot it gets stuck in your head Note: For Blitz to work you need to hit Blitz First, then insert the technique the way it shows you. If that does'nt work then try Left, Right, Left then X and or A, but slow down when you use it. If you rush it you'll get a " Incorrect Blitz Input " message. >.<

I'm having trouble with Wrexsoul myself, and I noticed a few pages back where it says to use the X-zone. What is that exactly and how do I do it? I tried the other method of killing off two of my other party members, and still got my hind end kicked.

X- Zone or " Banish " for short had a chance of taking all the monsters out of the battle, if not all this works on most bosses. I got Wrexsoul and his fire souls HP down first, when that happens Wrexsoul should migrate to one of his fire souls. Kill it quickly, or use Banish again and Wrexsoul should go down in no time at all.

Yeah, that would help, if I had banish. I thought I did what I was supposed to do in mobliz and kill of humbaba the first time, got back to reading and found out I had to lill him a 2nd time to get fenrir. So now I'm stuck in cyan's dream with no way to kill this S.O.B. blah. Thank you for your reply though.

You have to like I said above slow down when inputing blitz commands especially on the GBA version. It's basically the same as the ps1 version but different mode of playing. Write down all the blitz techs you have on a piece of paper and when in battle look at the paper while inputing the commands correctly and everything will be fine.

actually some of them would say left right downleft and right. Go left right left again and right. Somecommands u just use the direction. I knoww this sounds confusing. If it says down up: Choose one of those command and it works. Like aurabolt. it says down downright and right. use down down and right and it works. I actually killed vargas just doing that. I had three secs left. anyways has anyone completed the soul shrine. I've gotten up to the second skull dragon when u have to drain his mp till he dies and he keeps killing me by turning them all to imps or confusing them.

I've got Edgar with two Ultima Weapons (Genji glove) and he attacks 8 times with master scroll, 9999 times 8 = 79,992 damage all bosses gone. I know u get a prize like in ff5 advance saying u completed it.

One last thing is there any possible way to beat omega weapon. I keep getting him down to a little bit and then somehow hes back to normal.
