Valkyria: Azure Revolution Announced for PS4

Sega has announced through an article in Famitsu that they'll be making a new Valkyria Chronicles game, Valkyria: Azure Revolution. It will be coming out for the PS4, it's unclear from the article if it will be a prequel or sequel. The story explained so far is that with the discovery of Ragnite the Rus Empire was able to quickly grow. During the expansion of the empire a small nation was blockade by their growth, Jutland. Jutland decides to attacks the empire to gain their freedom.

They've introduced three characters so far, Amleth the main character and head of an anti-Valkyria unit for Jutland and the Jutland princess Ophelia. On the other side for Rus is Bynrhildr a Valkyria.

The painted visuals of the series will return with a system they're calling Gouache. And the combat system they've named LeGION.

So far it is set for a Winter 2016 release in Japan.
