What do you do in this game? Im considering purchasing it...
Hironobu Sakaguchi's Terra Battle has hit 1.2 million download and as promised with that milestone hit, it means that Nobuo Uematsu will be composing new music for the game. The tactical RPG for the mobile platform was promised a console release if it hit 2 million download. With it only being 800,000 downloads away, it is possible that a console version could happen.

I had to do a little search and digging around. It doesn't look like it is something simple to explain, though it looking at it seems to give an easy enough understanding roughly of what you're doing. It looks like you have your character tiles that you move around a grid to attack monsters. However, the alignment of the character tiles can end up creating different combos or effects when attacking. Like flanking for a basic maneuver or getting them specific patterns.
This video in the middle show the gameplay, the rest is just explaining the stretch goals for the game. So jump in the middle if you want to ignore all of that. It's free to play as far I know, so even if you do download it you aren't out anything.
