Been saying Game and Watch was OP for years. Maybe a glass cannon in melee, but in brawl he's BEAST. Priority and amazing downsmash? Gimme G&W and young link all day son.

Do you guys have any sort of wishlist of stuff you'd like to see appear in Super Smash Bros 4? You know, items/characters/stages/whatever from existing (or likely returning) characters' game universes. Obviously the inclusion of Mega Man opens up quite a few possibilities.

- I'd like to see vanishing blocks on Mega Man's stage. Maybe some not-so-instant death spikes for a floor hazard.
- Proto Man (Mega Man) assist trophy: Nothing fancy. Whistle plays. Beam in, blast shit up, beam out.
- Kuribo's Shoe (SMB3): Why on earth isn't this one in there yet? Could allow for jump damage, maybe boost jump height a little. Mostly just a fun item, not game breaking.
- Villager (Animal Crossing) final smash: A legion of AC townsfolk run in and throw a bunch of random furniture at everyone.
- POW Block (SMB2): I've heard they took out the random tripping (which was annoying as ****) but they could use a similar mechanic for synchronized tripping stage-wide, with the POW block. Or just stun enemy players for 1 second.
- Energy Tank (Mega Man): food item

Any ideas of your own?

I still wanna see Krystal as a playable character, even though they chose Wolf last time. Geno too, even though that's never happening. I'd like Croco as an assist or a trophy, or maybe Booster or the Axem Rangers. What would be REALLY cool would an old school FF representative, like Mog or a Warrior of Light. (Or Locke Cole, heh... they hate FF6 though apparently, so...) Hope the Mega Man stage is Doctor Wiley's level, stage 1 from Mega Man 2. Also hope that kick ass Mega Man 2 theme is in there. Also Rush. I hope Snake and Sonic are still in this, and maybe some extra Sonic characters too (but not one of the damn hedgehogs.) Knuckles and/or Tails would be awesome. Maybe a Dinosaur Planet level for aforementioned Krystal, or Forest Maze for Geno. La la la, things I know won't happen, but I can WISH. Anyhoo...

I've been playing a japan only Nintendo game called marvelous which is Zelda inspired and now I want to see some marvelous stuff in there like the locations and one of the 3 characters featured. I know that's not going to happen but that would be cool. Also, I would like to see Fierce Deity link make an appearance.

Per the official Smash Bros Dojo website, it looks like Captain Olimar is returning as a character in Super Smash Bros 4. I have mixed feelings about it. I could never figure out how to play him effectively in Brawl but I do like him as a character. Maybe he will get some updated moves in the form of new Pikmin from Pikmin 3.

There were also rumors of a Pilotwings-based stage (from the SNES version). I can't find confirmation of that. That would be pretty damn cool, too... if only for an updated music track or two for the stage. That's an underrated score if I've ever heard one.

That could be his Final Smash. Like Pikachu's Thunder attack but infinitely more annoying.

On the topic of SM:RPG, I'd like to see Nintendo incorporate more things from SM:RPG if not Geno/Mallow themselves:

• Bowser's moveset---a Chain Chomp projectile. He doesn't have any true projectile moves, does he?
• Stage ideas---Weapons Factory, Moleville Mountain, Star Hill (I'd say Nimbus Land but the Kid Icarus stage from Brawl is pretty similar already)
• Axem Rangers Assist Trophy
• Yoshi's blue variant having sunglasses (Boshi nod)

The Paper Mario series could use some representation in SSB4, as well:

• Why not some of the more unique Pixls from Super Paper Mario as items?
• The retro star, perhaps? Even if it only summoned a gigantic 8-bit Koopa Troopa, I'd be fine with that!
• A 3D/2D stage that switches between 3D/2D at regular intervals
• O'Chunks Assist Trophy: He can use his spinning throw move or be completely ineffectual---like he could wildly flail his arms in the air while run across the screen yelling "CHUNKS AWAAAAAY!". 50/50 chance.
• Mr. L alternate Luigi costume

What made me mad about Toon Link in Brawl was the lack of his Leaf. Adding that one thing would have made him feel less like a clone.

So in the past few weeks they've announced three more characters to SSB4:

• Peach (no surprise)
• Toon Link (clone? no clone? let the debate rage on!)
• Sonic (Again?! Though it's not bad. I liked him in Brawl)

What do you guys think? I am still holding out that Toon Link has more than just cosmetic and slight move alterations (normal arrow vs. fire arrow for example). Give him the ****ing DEKU LEAF! Let him float with it and push things with it! Give him the Skull Hammer! Link needs some hammer representation. Give him BAIT! TO CALL PIGS! Give him a functional, non-taunt-related Wind Waker wand! Hell, give him the Tingle Tuner to call Tingle for some kind of bomb drop move. Point is, he has more potential than just an adult Link clone!

I also think Link's final smash should have been the one-hundred-angry-chicken blitz and not his silly Triforce slash, but that's just me.

Toon Link was aerial compared to Adult Link.

I can see why Toon Link again because of the titles being released mainly have been on that storyline.

I'd rather see 8-bit Link.

Hah. I'm pretty sure Zelda users are well please. Is it safe to assume that every SSB character that has been in the series so far will be in SSB4?

Actually, no, it's not safe! Because they intend to make the Wii U and 3DS versions compatible, the roster will actually have to be smaller than Brawl.

If they scrap that standpoint, they can go all-out with the Wii U version.
