Remember Me (the Sci-Fi game)

I bought this game the other day and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I didn't think I would like it at first when I saw the trailer, but when I looked into it more and re-watched the trailer I started to develop a interest for it and purchased the game. Andro and I both really like how the story plays out and the gameplay. The story is about a girl named Nilian who is a memory hunter who is part of a criminal group called "The Errorists" she got captured and nearly had all her memories wiped had it not been for her partner who radio contacted her and created a distraction at the prison. The errorists are up against an organization known as Memorize who created the network that allows memories to be digitized and traded among people. Memorize could also drain people of their memories if they become criminals and have to be imprisoned. Nilian is also out to regain the memories she has lost.

Nilian has the ability to steal memories from other people and she can remix memories which alters how people remember things and it changes the outcome of whatever situation she gets in. The combat system is very similar to the batman arkham games, only in this game you can customize your combos and get unique effects. You also unlock specials later on in the game you can learn throughout the story.

Like you said, I've been enjoying the game quite a lot. It has an interesting story with some gray morale grounds that make things really interesting. It is also another of the few games that makes me feel really guilty about what I'm doing. It is not so bad from the start, but the further you go the more the guilt is played on you. And after a while you wonder if it is worth it and if you're not becoming evil just to right evil.

The world building and setting are all very fascinating to behold. The design is really beautiful to just watch and look around. Definitely a game worth giving a shot. I'm on the final episode right now and the plot twists and different things going on are really making me want to finish it tonight, but I can't.

When details first spilled about this game I was thoroughly excited to see what this game would unfold to be.
After seeing the beta gameplay (maybe it was Alpha), I was less than impressed. I hear the visuals in the game are quite something, but the gameplay it self is rather lack luster. Thats what kept me from buying the game, probably pick it up for $20 later down the road.
Though I do see threads popping up on forums that quite a bit of people enjoyed the game.

About a day after I owned the game I came across this video on youtube. It is quite amusing especially the fact the game only just got released and it already has a parody.
