BBC News - Final Fantasy maker Square Enix hacked

Ouchies. Goes to show nothing is really safe these days. XBL will be next. Heard it's already been hacked this year already, btw.

But yes. Not a great time to be a gamer. I understand that people want to make a name for themselves on teh interwebz, but hacking through and getting people's details, and ruining their trust and enjoyment from a company? It's getting tiring, and it's stupid. Besides from the notoriety and fame, what the hell has someone gained by doing this sort of thing?

PSN being down has already damaged Sony's relationship with their fans. Thankfully, a lot of us still remain faithful, and are patient while they re-configure their services. All I have to say is shame on you if you traded your PS3 in over this.

So... uh. Thoughts? Anyone bored of this yet? Taken extreme measures to protect your information? Hired any assassins lately?
