Kingdom Hearts Series, I don't know why but in the games he pops up in I always have a problem with Braig/Xigbar. It always takes me at least a few tries to beat him. I just know he will be boss in KH3. I even found Roxas easier than Xigbar in KH2.
So you're playing a game or are planning on getting back into one. You're making all these plans in your head about what you're going to do and the best parts of the game, when you realize that you're up to that one part of the game. That one guy or boss or level that's a real momentum killer.
I had a late start at work last week and thought I could kill a half hour before hand on Skyrim. Figured I'd sell some stuff or raid a bandit camp or something. It wasn't until the loading screen that it hit me: I have to talk to Paarthurnax for the first time. Guess where that half hour went.
Any parts in games that make you think "Oh God not this again"?

I am playing through Final Fantasy IV DS, and my least favorite part of the game is the dark elf cave since you can use metal equipment which renders most of your party useless.
I've also been playing CT recently and my least favorite part is the magic cave where you have to use magic attacks to beat the enemies.

FF9, the part where the party is split and I'm stuck with one party with no viable healers, and another with no viable attackers.
For Our Lord Sheogorath, without Whom all Thought would be linear and all Feeling would be fleeting. Blessed are the Madmen, for they hold the keys to secret knowledge. Blessed are the Phobic, always wary of that which would do them harm. Blessed are the Obsessed, for their courses are clear. Blessed are the Addicts, may they quench the thirst that never ebbs. Blessed are the Murderous, for they have found beauty in the grotesque. Blessed are the Firelovers, for their hearts are always warm. Blessed are the Artists, for in their hands the impossible is made real. Blessed are the Musicians, for in their ears they hear the music of the soul. Blessed are the Sleepless, as they bask in wakeful dreaming. Blessed are the Paranoid, ever-watchful for our enemies. Blessed are the Visionaries, for their eyes see what might be. Blessed are the Painlovers, for in their suffering, we grow stronger. Blessed is the Madgod, who tricks us when we are foolish, punishes us when we are wrong, tortures us when we are unmindful, and loves us in our imperfection.
The Goddamn water temple in Ocarina of Time. I hate that place so damn much because it always took me forever as a kid. On top of that, back in my day, there were no YouTube walkthroughs, and we'd have to walk six miles uphill each way just to get to the AOL.
But honestly, the worst part about it was that it was a max's and a half, and as a kid, I wasn't allowed to play games during the school week. I'd have limited gaming time, and that place confused the hell out of me because of forget what I was supposed to do. It took me almost a month to beat it, but it was probably really like 7 hours of real time
