Nintendo has finished their E3 direct stream presentation and has revealed a bunch of interesting games on their feed. One of the games were revealed is the 8th entry of Mario Kart which looks really good. It looks like from the trailer that they are taking examples from Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7. In Mario Kart Wii you had the ability to ride motorbikes in the races, Mario Kart 8 retains this idea along with the custom karts from MK7, hang-gliding is featured, as well as underwater racing. The visuals are stunning as well. The game is slated for spring 2014, in my opinion it looks more fun to play than Mario Kart Wii and I feel this will be one of the best Mario Kart entries yet.
