I hate free MMOs. They say free but still aim for you to pay way more than you would with a normal 15 dollar subscription but whatever.
Now is this something along the lines of Neverwinter Nights?
The MMO I speak of is Neverwinter with the help from Perfect World Neverwinter open beta was launched couple weeks ago, as a huge fan of the Forgotten Realms series I thought I would delve into it to see what it's like.
Like most of Perfect Worlds MMO's they are 100% free to play save a arduous download and install time, then patch time and then figure out that the launcher won't work because I need to turn on javascript etc anyway also like most Perfect World MMO's you have the ability to buy accessories and extras which wasn't a huge surprise.
Now being a long time user of the Perfect world MMO host site I am interested to see how different or not different Neverwinter will be to all the others, so far gameplay has been exciting but I have only put in a solid hour of play as of yet.
Has anyone else tried Neverwinter yet? If so it would be good to hear opinions on yet another MMO.

SPOILER!!:
Currently Playing: Video Games
Most of Perfect world hosted MMO's are free to play but some *coughPWIcough* are ridiculous in the fact that when you get to about lvl 50 and you haven't bought extra things that your character seriously lacks in everything which drove me away from PWI.
It is free to play but you do have the option to buy fashion just for looks, mounts which you don't really need I haven't got to far so I can say what you need to fashion lvl'd weapons or armor.
Yes it is based in Forgotten Realm of Faerun/Fearun however it is spelt, and it based around the town of Neverwinter in fact that is where you start.
So far it has the same feel as NWN to the fact that it feels like a story unlike a lot of other MMO which have little to none or you get so overwhelmed in useless mob quests that you forget why you are even playing the god damn thing, so far (touch wood) Neverwinter hasn't been like that 'yet' there is still the aspects of a typical MMO incorporated though.
