looks awesome!
Announced earlier this week, Gust had a few things more to give about their latest game and new IP. Land of No Night will be coming out August 27th in Japan with multiple different editions/pricing models. They also had a few screenshots to show off the game in action, specifically a couple of combat situations with the UI and showing off what is likely the two main characters. As mentioned before, there are magical swords and demon servants present in the game, with combat looking like they are collected and used as attacks.

Yeah, I'm definitely excited for a new RPG from Gust, it's their first PS4 game, though being multi-platform, it's hard to call it truly a PS4 game. But that doesn't change the fact that it a very pretty looking game.

The battle screenshot looks similar to Valkyrie Profile's battle system, will it play out like those games at all?

Felt a little like Folklore to me, but I can see Valkyrie Profile too. The attacks you have from your swords or demons look to level up or at least have different levels. I wonder how deep it'll be. Gust has a very wide range of ideas for when it comes to combat, Ar Tonelico 2 was a very deep complex system while Rorona was extremely simplistic and Ar no Surge was just unique.

Is this PS4 only or do I have a hope to get it on PS3? Cause I do not own a PS4 but I probably should at some point.
It's out for all Playstation platforms. So you should be covered.
