SPOILER!!:
In that one Quarry junction place that was infested with Deathclaws, I snuck up on top of the rockwalls and sniped them all out. Although my companions bought it a couple times because they don't know how to climb on top of things... (No NPC's do. That's why I could kill the Deathclaws.)
Btw: does this bother anyone else?Anyhoo...SPOILER!!:

This game is what Deus Ex was working to a decade ago. And I love Deus Ex! Your allegiance matters. And character cross over eachother if you play long enough. You could play this game a multitude of ways and not get the same result. Everyone should get it and play it. I wasn't huge about Fallout 3, very good but not my total bag. I think this just had a little more to it that I appreciated. Perhaps it was Yes Man....or the Caesar.
Just buy it, and not Fable 3.
I sided with Caeser's legion.
does that make me a bad person?
It makes you a horrible person. (Nah, just kidding. Choices you make in video games do not reflect on your true personal character, I don't think.)
I beat the game yesterday. The gameplay itself of the ending was pretty awesome, and a bit more challenging than the ending of Fallout 3. The cinematic stuff after the ending... left something to be desired, kinda like with Fallout 3. I was playing a little while today to try to get the NCR ending too... but then the game froze up again, and when I went to load it again, it kept stopping at 3% when loading the trophy information, so I took it as a sign to stop. btw...
Anyhoo...SPOILER!!:

I'm in love with this game... Seriously. I've knocked up a 60 hour profile and a 20 hour one. So far I've sided with myself and NCR. I've also explored the whole map and figured out some really fun things to do. Eg-
Extreme Deathclaw hunting:- *POSSIBLE SPOILERS*
Spoiler: Do Boones missing wife mission. Recruit Boone. Go to the Gun Runners and buy the 'Anti-Materiel Rifle'. Equip Boone with the anti-materiel rifle and sit him up on a cliff in Quarry Junction. Then walk around with a loud weapon. Draw as many deathclaws as possible to you and run towards the cliff. (Shooting and screaming if you are me!) This is a great way to take down those pesky Mother and Alpha male as Boone automatically uses the appropriate ammo. He can take down the best of them in a few shots. This can provide a lot of help for the Thorns mission of collecting their eggs. Oh, and sitting Boone at the end of corridors to fight the Legendary Deathclaw is also easier. Basically... Boone rapes deathclaws. Hunting them is so much fun and seeing them go flying is really funny. They do cause intense damage, though.
Oh, and as some of you were talking about bugs:-
Spoiler: Has anybody noticed the problems with taking part in the Thorn? I tried a match versus 'all the deathclaws' and put them to shame. Then I found I was stuck inside the damned arena.
The other annoying glitch is buying from some traveling traders. It freezes up and makes me reset. That can be very annoying.

So nobody has commented on it yet... but some of the music in this game is pretty awesome. And I'm not just talking about the radio stations. I constantly get this theme stuck in my head:
Of course, I also really like a lot of their selections, like Big Iron, Jingle Jangle, etc. Someone online described Big Iron as being a bore fest. I was like, "Wow..." Anyhoo...

The music is good. Sometimes it messes up on the Strip, though. Mind you a lot of things go wrong at the strip. Has anybody had the screen go blue yet?
Oh, Arcades side-quest is BULL! I have to play the whole damn thing again for the NCR because I messed up and didn't get his trust with me high enough. God damn conversation triggers!!!!!
Still a great game...

Never had the screen go blue on the Strip, but it lags and freezes up on me loads. Sometimes it runs smoothly though. Just most of the time I can't even take a step without it sticking.
As for The Thorn, I've had many problems down there:
I was coming back up to Lucy from a match, and got stuck in the hatch. When I reloaded, I was still stuck in the hatch because of the damn autosave feature.
When I got the option to follow Lucy to her room, the game just cut out on me and restarted to the xmb... three times after each reload at the exact same spot outside of her room.
I was spam killing the Radscorpions for their poison glands with a Plasma Rifle... their disintegrated pile of green liquid corpses never did disappear. Green floors ftw. Not...
And I wanted to watch two Deathclaws fight, and neither of them did - just stood there looking at each other. Apparently if you disturb the fights, everyone becomes hostile, so I never did that again.
I had problems with it sticking as well. The loading screens sometimes take a long time, too. The screen normally flashes to blue when I go up to the Presidential of the Lucky 28. It can be annoying but is easily fixed if I leave.
As for your problem with Lucy I never had that happen. I have seen other areas cause the same problem, though. Mainly around Golf.
One of my files really messed up and wouldn't let me fast-travel. It just gives me a message of 'you cannot warp from this area at this time' or something. Luckily I was near the end of that file when this occurred. My main file (the one I intend to use for future DLC) has remained free of game-altering glitches.
I hope they work on a real patch that can sort all of the problems everyone is having. One of my friends didn't save for 2 hours and his file corrupted and it kicked him back to his old save.
