Dreamcast games getting ported to XBLA/PSN.

SEGA® Europe Ltd. and SEGA® of America, Inc. today announced plans to bring classic titles from its popular Dreamcast™ console to Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®Network later this year. Sonic Adventure™ and Crazy Taxi™ will be the first two classics made available, with Sonic leading the pack in Autumn 2010 for the 11th anniversary of the launch of the Dreamcast in Europe

I figured it was only a matter of time before this happened, but if they get certain games (Powerstone 2 comes to mind) with online play, I will cream myself. What does everyone else think?

the concept is kinda cool but i personally don't care. i might pick up street fighter 3 if it gets on there and maybe some others titles if they are appealing, other than that... meh

Eep!!! So cool x3!!!! I loved Sonic on the Dreamcast... I would most certainly pay good money for this game again haha. I bought the PC version but it never worked on Vista -.- But this... SO GOOD O_O!!!!

Also Crazy Taxi was the best.. and Echo... Ahhh!!! Hurry up :|

I'd much prefer Saturn games to get ported. The Dreamcast is awesome, don't get me wrong, but I can buy most Dreamcast games without shelling out $200. I can't say the same for some Saturn games.

Give me a third installment of Shenmue and I'll get excited.

Quoted for truth. Saturn was a very underappreciated console, even though it had very impressive games. It was certainly better than the Playstation when it started, but Sony got the edge by taking most of the big names under its wing, after Nintendo's late entrance.

Though...if I were to consider Dreamcast games, I'd go for Ikaruga on a heartbeat. It's one of the few worthwhile top-shooters out there.
