Dark Souls: Prepare to die edition PC

So I got this about a few days ago for 5.99 on steam... I already knew the game was going to be frustrating, but wow... My patience has never been tested. I'm by this taurus demon thing, which you have to fight him on this narrow extension between two towers. People have been telling me to plunge attack him from above; which is what I originally thought of doing, but the stupid attack never connects.... My third attempt was all, "Go in sword waving" strategy" which surprisingly worked; I managed to get its health to half before he knocked me off.

Does anyone have this game or has played it? Please share your experiences! ^_^

Yeah, I've completed Dark Souls. It is a rough game, but it is meant to be rough. The best thing to do with the Taurus Demon is lead him back to the tower. Climb up the tower and then while he is climbing up to get you jump down and stab him. As long as the Demon is near under the tower your hit should connect. The rest is a lot of dodging and keeping up with his attacks. You have to learn the patterns he has.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.

Whole game is a lot like that. Figure out the thing they do that offers the best hope for getting an attack in, and run around like an idiot trying to not die until they do it. Repeat until victorious.
For Our Lord Sheogorath, without Whom all Thought would be linear and all Feeling would be fleeting. Blessed are the Madmen, for they hold the keys to secret knowledge. Blessed are the Phobic, always wary of that which would do them harm. Blessed are the Obsessed, for their courses are clear. Blessed are the Addicts, may they quench the thirst that never ebbs. Blessed are the Murderous, for they have found beauty in the grotesque. Blessed are the Firelovers, for their hearts are always warm. Blessed are the Artists, for in their hands the impossible is made real. Blessed are the Musicians, for in their ears they hear the music of the soul. Blessed are the Sleepless, as they bask in wakeful dreaming. Blessed are the Paranoid, ever-watchful for our enemies. Blessed are the Visionaries, for their eyes see what might be. Blessed are the Painlovers, for in their suffering, we grow stronger. Blessed is the Madgod, who tricks us when we are foolish, punishes us when we are wrong, tortures us when we are unmindful, and loves us in our imperfection.
