    Post Crash Bandicoot 1

So, i thought i'd start a thread on Naughty Dog's classic platforming game Crash Bandicoot. I'm currently revisiting this game after many years, and i was curious to know people's thoughts on the game - whether you played it during the PS1 era or later on a different console; whether you enjoyed it or thought it was horrible; what parts were easy or challenging to you and what levels you loved or hated the most?

For me personally, i always loved playing the game and i found it to be a moderately challenging game once i figured out the strategies for each level. My favourite levels were probably the river levels and the ancient city levels ('Upstream', 'Up the Creek', 'The Lost City' & 'Sunset Vista'). I just had a thing for those nature-y /ancient culture levels

The only levels i didn't really like were the bridge levels ('Road to Nowhere' and 'The High Road') and possibly Cortex's modern factory levels ('Heavy Machinery' and 'Castle Machinery'). They weren't necessarily hard once you figured your way around, i just wasn't a big fan of the setting.

My favourite boss of the game probably would go to Dr. N. Brio. I love his epic battle in the castle xD

    What are your thoughts? Go!

I've only recently within the last year or so come to own the game (the series was free on Playstation Plus for a while), but I used to play it at my friend's house a lot when I was a kid.

As a kid, I remember the game being quite difficult. Me, my friend and my brother, and everyone else who wanted to have a go, would take it in turns until we made progress. I can pick the game up now on my PSP and just run through it without more than a few deaths. That said, I've still not actually finished it. Still, was a good game with a lot of good memories attached from when I was a kid.
