"Mark Forums Read" selection not working properly...

I noticed a little something. When I go to the quicklinks drop-panel and try to select "Mark Forums Read", I get this message: Your submission could not be processed because a security token was invalid. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

Here's a screenshot of what I see. I tried to click on the link to inform an administrator, but nothing happened there either.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed it?

I just had the same occurance happen after reading this. Contact Merlin or make a post in one of the forum upgrade threads. The forum was messed up ealier and Merlin was the one to fix it and also asked if anything goofy was going on to report it ASAP.

Edit: Also, please ensure that you clear your TFF cookies before reporting an issue as your cookies could be corrupt.

Yay, four months later and it is still happening. Happens with IE and firefox.

Wow... now the bots are getting pretty creative in their spam.

In any case, the since Meier did recently post in here and I didn't notice it, I'll look to see if anything is funky.

After doing some research, it is a "security fix" that was implemented. I can fix the issue, but it will take quite some time to do, because the templates would have to be re-created.

Yeah I just clicked the option by accident and it still led me to an error message.

So an update on this would be nice seeing it is still not working.

I find it to be a useless feature of the forum but obviously a few people did like to use it when it was available. If it is going to be a big problem to fix it then why not remove the option all together to where a broken modification is not available?

Then again, Dodie did report (seven months ago) it so at one point she thought it was necessary to use it. Would love to get her opinion on it also.

Works now in Light and Dark. Google stuff doesn't work that great there anymore, but I can't figure out why. I'll leave that one up to Fuzz as he put that proprietary Google junk in there...

Also, there is now a "Community" drop-down. This is what "Networking" was in Quick Links. It was changed in some version of vBulletin.

There are other templates that still need reverting, but that should at least solve that issue. It was a royal pain in the ass to fix.

That explains where Social Groups went; I was about to ask, as I'd noticed it was gone from the quickbar.
