Wow- it worked!

Just change the message editor interface to "standard editor" in your options. For some reason, it worked! Although it's a bit harder to use that editor than the WYSIWYG editor if you have a complicated signature, it seems to have fixed the problem for me

im having a problem with my sig. Every time i use the code in the first post to put my url in the http:// thing it just makes a hyper link and i am using image shack. i was using the show image code so help please

Edit: I use the standard editor. I tried the WYSIWYG editor and it had some flaws, so I stopped using it. And besides, you didn't give us a chance to reply.

...the problem is that the words "image source" are still in your code.

Remove that and it will work just fine.

Oh...quick question: What is the maximum width for sigs?

I don't really have one set... but the idea is to keep banners under 600 wide, in case of any 800x600 users, to avoid stretching the tables. I'm not going to complain if the image is upwards of 700 wide though. I prefer that it's not, but most people are on at least a 1024x768 resolution these days, so it's no big deal.

The [marquee] tag makes text scroll, while the [bounce] tag makes text bounce.

Similarly, the [move] tag is like marquee, but scrolls to the right instead.

-sigh-.. Read the first post of the thread. We don't use the [img] tag. Use the html tag for images. <img src="url of your image">

That's because you were still using the [img] tag.

I changed your signature to include the html instead. Nice banner, by the way.

Grr..i'm not sure what's going on. I created a sig, its hosted at webshots, it WAS working for awhile, but now it's not showing up.

Is it just me that's not seeing it? Or do you guys not see it either?

It's not there because you got the code wrong. You must have changed it at some point or something without realizing it? I don't know. Anyway...

You had this:

EDIT: Problem solved. Thanks for clearing it up. I have to admit i'm not a professional sig maker or anything, my first one really but the lack of general leo material makes it hard.

How do I get rid of those stupid spaces benieth the two piccies in my sig?

I want to have both piccies, as I believe that having scored as both Locke and Sephiroth on seperate tests says something about me. Or maybe the tests... But I don't want to waste all that space on extra spaces when I didn't leave any when setting it up. It's really quite frustrating, and I've been tinkering with it for a couple of days now...

Oh yes, and while I'm at it: How do I get rid of that bold setting for my final comment in the sig?
