Yap. I would rather listen to Sayuri Sugawara's than listen to Leona Lewis'. Okay, Leona Lewis is a good singer. But guys, this is Final Fantasy XIII theme song! Why does Square Enix pick Leona's-unknown-song and doesn't pick the original one that was made for FFXIII itself? SE just have to make the english version of Kimi ga Iru kara and Eternal Love, or just keep they performed in japanese..Quote:

I was kinda suprised when I first heard this, then I listened to the song and thought it wouldn't fit the series at all. However, after watching a trailer that was put together with the song on a UK site i have to admit, its almost a perfect fit. I prefer it this way over japanese songs, although some of the older FF music is epic they were never really theme songs in the way this is, they were mostly battle themes and such.
I actually like the song now i've seen it with that trailer haha.
Block's hand claps on webcam made this song instantly priceless for me. God I wish I had a saved pic of that, I was rofling everywhere :D

Also breaking the tradition of songs not made originally for FF it's a bad idea.
For me it's ruining the game a lot and im considering buying it at all.
Didn't really like any character i've seen except Lightning, kinda want the old-school back..

Why can't we stick with the battle theme as the theme song, or something? Something epic.
I agree that this song doesn't seem to work well with Final Fantasy.
If they were going to use some Western music, they should've used something heavier to suit the heavy atmosphere. Like this:

and whats this talk of tradition? the only REAL traditions in final fantasy are moogles, chocobos, cid, airships, and the fact that it is an rpg. everything else is fair game according to square, and as far as im concerned.
im quite dissapointed that people are so upset about this game when it hasnt even come out yet. over something so insignificant as a song that will be played in the credits, a part of the game that only exist to give credit to those who made the game.
as if this change is gonna effect anyones decision to buy the game, and if it does... then thats just truly sad.
