I do agree with Ragna it should be in general FF but i would say Odin and Yojimbo mainly because they could kill enemies in one hit which made it easier to fend off the annoying monsters that interrupted you game therefore i would just send out Odin or Yojimbo to make easy work of them and i could use Yojimbo all the time because i had a shed load of gil from constantly fighting monsters. As far as Odin is concerned he just looked freaking awesome haha.

Mmm.. I Love ULtima's appearance on FFXII and she's one of my favourite summon.. she's powerfuL.. and beautifuL to watch when fighting.. though.. I don't use summons on FFXII aLot.. when I got (defeated) ULtima, I Like caLLing her most of the time (but not when LeveLing up).. Phoenix from FFVIII is aLso my favourite.. I just wish that they made it just Like an (aLways) avaiLabLe GF rather than just pops out when it wants.. aLso.. Phoenix saves my FFVIII party when fighting a boss and two of my member died.. :-)

Shiva is my favorite, she's graceful and tough so cool.
Shiva is my favourite mainly because of the Ice Queen thing. It's just always such a good concept. Other than her probably Bahamut and Alexander, mainly because of the huge battle they have in FFIX but also because a dragon and a huge mecha holy castle thing are simply fantastic ideas.
I also love Shiva the most. She's super hot.

Yojimbo is Number 1st! Cuz i like the samurai thingy with him! an Zanmato is just pure pwnage!
Gilgamesh is Number 2st! Cuz he can be tough but yet sometimes Silly! XD
Bahamut is Number 3st! Bahamut is... well coolest but not number 1!
Odin is number 4st! Is real cool but yeah... Just piece of cake for Yojimbo!

hmm this is hard but ill just ill have 2 chose Odin and Bahamut Fury they both r awesome then of course is Shiva then Cactar then Phonix, Ifrit, Siren, Crusader and last but not least Diablos
my two favorite summons are Diabolos and Knights of the Round.
i liked diabolos because he was so b.a. looking and i liked knights of the round because it did sick amounts of damage and had a cool scene to watch.
I really like ark from ff9, knights of the round is very unique, and odin is really cool too. Also, pretty much all the the summons from ff12 are ballin although i havent really had time to get very far in the game.... I thought about making a competition where first person to beat ff12 wins. timeline would be like 3 weeks due to schedules and quickest one to last save point wins... any takers?
Odin, hands down my favorate. I'm part norwegian so he rates first.
Alexander, This guy has been passed up so much in the past, he's a giant friggin castle. And in 9, he's actually Garnet castle.
Phoneix, for those times where your allys need to stop falling over and dying, and giving us the option of actually rezzing downed team-mates and dealing damage.
And finally Carnbuckle. Not the most offensive, but one of the most useful for sure.

for reals though. I like Ark the best, by far my favorite summon ever. It's an airship, that transforms into another form then blasts the enemy away. gg.
I really liked Bahamut from 10, with that gear thing circling behind his back and his arms folded across his chest like he's thinking, "You better not mess with me, mothah ****ah." Plus, he has some fairly powerful attacks (though he's not the most powerful in that game by any means.) So, basically aesthetics for me. I also like Carbunkle, because he looks like a Pokemanz! Also, What the heck was that most powerful summon in FF10 called? that thing was ugly. It also did a lot of damage, and was fairly hard to kill. Very useful! Anyhoo...

Ever since FFVIII it's been Ifrit all the way just because he looks awesome. Valefor from FFX is pretty sweet too especially with his 2nd overdrive.

My things:
Bahamut - the MegaFlare in FFV is sick, especially when paired up with RedX2.
The first few times I fought Neo Exdeath I got destoryed. I didn't know what I was doing wrong (I didn't prepare for the battle - Holy & Flare weren't going to get it done). I went back and gained many AP and Bahamut x 2 made the battle a piece of cake.
