I was playing FFIV for the DS while I was riding in the car with my parents and my sister and she held her hand out gesturing that she wanted to play so i handed it over and she started a new game. She only had time to play up to the part where Cecil and Kain were leaving Baron. So my question is, do you have a sister that plays FF or at least tried one?
I have another sister that definitely plays FF titles, she only beat FFIX though.
i dont have a sister but ive got a brother that plays every once in a while. i remember the first one i introduced him to was XII. i was level grinding but had to leave to go run an errand. so, it being XII and you can control the gambit system to do everything, i handed him the remote and asked him to stay in the lhusu mines and run around and kill everything. i come back about 20 mins later and and he's all 'bunny chick is pwning'. he ended up getting the psp version of 1 not too long ago.

I'm thinking about creating a hybrid. A dolphin-monkey. Half dolphin, half monkey. Do you think it's possible?
I was thinking that since I'm artificially creating it, I'll create it with rocket fuel instead of blood, and thus it will be able to fly, using the dolphin's dorsal fins as wings. And from the air, it will look down upon us all and protect us against sharks, and search for bananas.

I've got one, had another, but she's been dead for quite some time now. My now deceased elder sister was the one who got me into video games, among other things. So, I've returned the favor and gotten my younger sister into the fun stuff too. She's not the typical modern gamer who bases an opinion of a game on its graphics, I taught her better than that. I started her off with my NES, even though I had a PS2 and other better consoles, just because I wanted her to develop an appreciation for classic gaming. FF1 was her favorite of my NES games.

I don't have any sisters...but I suppose I can talk about my brothers.
I introduced FF to two of my brothers, though they didn't stick with it at all. My older brother beat VII and played part of VIII and IX, and my second youngest one beat VII. He didn't bother with any of the others after that one. Not really his type of game, so I was kind of surprised he actually finished it.
I have an older brother and younger sister who gave try at Final Fantasy, though only for a short notice. My sister used to watch me playing Final Fantasy IX, later on she gave a try, but never managed to beat it, that was her only Final Fantasy experience. But honestly, I was quite surprised she showed any interest at all since she never was a serious gamer to begin with.
My brother prefers WRPG's, though he's OK with Final Fantasy. He played multiple tittles, Final Fantasy VII, IX and X, failed to beat either one of them for one simple reason, he's unlucky bastard. Near the end of IX he had to return the discs, his save files just vanished in the middle of Final Fantasy VII, and X, he gave up one that one, still don't know why.
I also have a little sister, she's too young for games such as Final Fantasy, though I hope she'll follow her brother steps, and show some interest in Final Fantasy (I'll make sure of it).
My brother plays games more than me. He's actually the person who got me to join this forum. I've played a few games and enjoyed them, but it's not a hobby I seek out or spend money on. I'd usually just play his games when he was done if it looked like I would like them. I did have a few of my own racing games and a PS1, but I haven't messed with it in a while....
But I did like Final Fantasy games and joined this site at his and a friend's urging (Viper/vipervenom, if anyone remembers her... we went to middle school and high school together). What's kind of funny is that they no longer frequent this forum and I'm a goddamn S-mod. I dunno.

Meier: Hey Pete, I said I started to, it just didn't end the with the same number of women. Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Even got a rePETEr (<---- like that ay? AYYYYY?) on the back burner.

Must not have threatened physical violence enough. Classical conditioning man, pair an unwanted action with an undesirable stimulus to discourage the repetition of the action. Like you know, knock him upside the head with a brick when you see him playing Madden. Shouldn't take too long, might not even be too late to correct the problem.

Haha brings back memories, My sister once asked if she could play FFVII, not a bloody clue, I sat there telling her what to do, what buttons to press, which direction to go, she gave up after half an hour lol.

I have a brother. He asked for Final Fantasy VII when we were at the store because mum said we could pick a game each, but he didn't get into it. He got stuck because he didn't know what the action button was (he didn't know you had to talk to Biggs in the reactor to open the door). So one day, I picked it up and worked it out.
And had some fun.
Although, then he bought Final Fantasy VIII, but couldn't get into that either. So I took it... and had fun.
Now he just doesn't play Final Fantasy. Not his kind of thing.

I have a younger sister who I got somewhat into Final Fantasy. She saw me play Tactics one day, asked if she could try, so I let her play it for an hour or so and she loved it. Only took her a week to beat it.
But she still hasn't played and finish as many as myself. So far, she's only beaten Tactics, VII, VIII, and IX. She tried X, but she didn't like how it have the typical leveling system, and just gave up on it halfway through. And she's recently started playing X-2, and is taking her sweet time with that one. I've been trying to get her to play XII, and hopefully she will finally play it one day.
